Unfortunately, I couldn't get very far. Bad commands crashed. I wish I had a list of commands, but perhaps part of the fun is supposed to be figuring them out? That would probably be fine if I could try more without crashing. Too bad, I was interested in how it would go. Also "adjective subject" doesn't seem like the right part of speech for a command. A "verb" seems necessary.

I really like this game. It is a very original idea. I hope you learned a lot, nice job!

It seems like a pretty good game, but I'm also experiencing crashes. :\ Hopefully you can upload a fixed build once the jam is over?

Developer

Im honestly surprised people want a fixed version. This is not something I was proud of lol.

Hmmm, if I type an invalid command it says Command Not Found, and when I type a valid command it crashes... Something seems wrong...

Sad, because it seems like there was more to do in this game (I found like 10 different usable commands, like "hide" and "smack", by typing invalid commands).

You do get the originality points though!

Unfortunately I couldn't get very far in the game due to it crashing. It could also use more of a tutorial besides the included "help" description, to maybe teach the user a simple move command or something.

"terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'

what(): std::bad_alloc"

From what little I am able to play, the concept is super cool. The command-line interface is unique and the puzzle of figuring out what commands work is challenging. Although one could easily cheat by opening up certain included files in a text editor, maybe this is intentional?

Yeah there was a lot there, and I did my best to get a working concept before stability. If I did it again I would have done more planning before hand as opposed to patching things together later.

As far as 'cheating' is concerned I figure people will play it as is on good faith. If some one wants to cheat it to get further thats fine by me. There is actually a fair amount of content in there that I couldn't attach before the deadline.
