Nice job! Really heavy subject, but it's handled well and it didn't feel like it was just sad for the sake of being sad. Well done.
Yo’,
Wasn’t expecting this at all, very moving, my only problem would be the music, I don’t think it fits too much. A good(?) story, most things are out of our hands, best we can do is face them head-on, otherwise we only prolong our suffering.
Really moving story, glad I played it. Great job!
I wasn´t expecting this take take on the theme. It is very deep and it fits the theme, because you are not in control in such situations and you would do everything to control it for sure.
That was a pretty intense story. Only complaint is that I'm not a fan of the music. I don't feel it fits with the game in the slightest, I'd go for some calming music. The start of the track is also very repetitive.
Thank you for your feedback. Sorry you aren't a fan of the music, but that's why I added the option to mute audio.
What an intense and tearful storyline! The way people adapt to your decisions is very smart too!
That's pretty dark, but you managed a meaningful interpretation of the theme instead of just a stupid one or a pun (not that those are bad, but this just stands out in that way). So good job :)
Good gods, I'm not usually into this kind of experience, but both the music, text, and interpretation of the theme were incredible. Could almost have brought me to tears, seriously :o
Personally not a big fan of story game and i wish the text would flow faster
Thank you for your honest feedback. I'll add an option to increase text print speed once I am allowed to make changes.
this made me so anxious! which means the writing is great. and a good fit for the theme
Aww this is so sweet! This is a really great take on the theme
Great game! Glad i saw it on Taco's stream
Hi! Very good way to show out of control. Just a quick ease of life fix, I may have skipped through some options thinking they were normal text. Maybe make the choices dialogue stand out more (i.e more spacing between normal and choice text. Thanks for the great game!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, watching a lot of Twitch people just skipping through the options made me realize they aren't distinct enough, certainly something I'll fix when the rating period is over and I can post a new build
This an incredible way to handle the game jam idea "out of control". So uncomfortable and interesting choices.
Feels very clean, just some minor layering issues here and there.
Glad that it all turned out OK (in-game and in real life) - I wish more of the 'out of control'-ness of the situation was translated into gameplay elements; as it is, only the story is out of control, which makes ends up making the experience feel very close to tragic games that were made without the theme in mind.
It was pretty well done, I liked the story and the art fit well! well done ^^
good story and thank for the mute button. Game well done.
It was brave of you to do something this heavy hitting for a jam. I wouldnt call this fun, but it was definitely deep and emotionally driven. Good work.
Really liked the game! I'm not really a reader but I'm really impressed you made this on your own! :)
Wow this game was a great narrative experience and very depressing. It's hard to call it fun, but it was definitely interesting.
