How does your game fit the theme?
You play a platformer using a virtual controller which has it's keys periodically damaged and no longer function. The exposed wires from destroyed buttons can be re-mapped to other still-intact buttons to use their functions.

Really well polished game! Congrats on this! Once the game reveals itself, it's a very cool concept and constanting requires a rewiring of your brain that is quite fun.
If i had to criticize, as other people have said, the timer feels very punishing. If it was twice as long as it is now for every level, I feel like that would be fine, though I am honestly not even sure that the game needs a timer. Between the puzzle solving, platforming, and obstacles, a timer on top of it all feels a bit much. I also would have been great if there were ability indicators on the colored wires as well (kinda like how there are on the arrow keys). Even after ten minutes of playing, I found myself constantly having to remind myself which color did which ability.
Overall, though, suberb game!
Thanks! The timer has indeed been a point of contention, it's bothering many and many are saying they like it! I think primarily for the design I was aiming for a more difficult speedrunning style experience, but that may not have been the best thing to go for in a jam like this haha ^^

Super creative idea and the visuals are amazing. One thing I'd change though is to either make the timer much more lenient, or have the demon eat the keys at the start of the level. For example, it feels pretty annoying when I have to dash over a ledge but the demon eats the dash key right before that, and then I have to start the level over and remap that key anyways.

Amazing art style and gameplay, overall insanely polished for a jam game, only complaint is the timer is too fast so it was incredibly hard to beat a few levels. That being said this is def a favorite of mine!

The first thing I liked was the amount of levels for a game jam, being in a group sure makes better and bigger proyects I haven't found any downsides at all and the theme implementations was awesome. Good Job

The Idea is neat. the presentation is rock solid
I'm not super fan of having to switch from gamepad to mouse though.
It might make for a good two player game though (One player controlling and the other fixing the pad)
I think it would work well in a game convention.

Maybe too difficult - the timer runs out pretty quickly, considering you have to take time to manually change your controls - but else you did a fantastic job ! The design is solid and the art is fun, so that’s a good note for me ^^
Thanks for the compliments! I agree that if we had more time we could've tweaked the difficulty in the game somewhat by changing button destruction order or changing the timer to make the difficulty curve more forgiving.
simply amazing work. I'd say you went too far with the difficulty and learning curve, maybe make more stretched out tutorial levels? well, 5 stars in everything anyway
