How does your game fit the theme?
As you progress in the puzzles, you lose control over your ability to directly affect the outcome. You can only set up an initial state and watch as a rules based algorithm transforms your input. Puzzles are solved using indirect control.

Really clever idea on the theme, very well made and the puzzles are well designed as well.
The ruleset for this puzzle game make it really difficult since there's a lot of factors to consider such as generations and the amount of resulting neighbors! Probably too difficult for someone like me because I couldn't get further than several puzzles before I felt unbelievably stuck.
That's not a bad thing though! This game definitely has a lot of appeal to people who would love to really think all the way about how a certain combination can lead them to the answer.
This is a simple idea executed really well. I like how you used Conway's game of life to fit the out of control theme. The visuals are minimalistic and really nice. The audio is really great --- nice sound effects and the music is a lot of fun. The puzzles themselves are really well designed. they're tricky but fun! Once there were two steps of the game of life I realised I'd need some coffee to make it much further. I look forward to tackling it again in the morning.
Thanks for the game!
Well polished. Simple but tough!
Loved the funky music, I really dig puzzle games, and this one has an interesting concept. I could see myself playing this on my phone.
Holy moley, level 22 was brutal for me. Must have spent 15 minutes on it. Overall, I thought it was very fun, but to better fit the them maybe the set of rules could have changed too.
Aaaah my brain hurts! Well done tho! That's a really good idea :D
Nice job! Really great graphics and I loved the gameplay with the puzzles! Well done. :D
Cool concept, really good prototype ! Maybe some feedback and user experience problems but i think this has great potential !
I might have not been smart enough to figure most of them out but this is a cool idea:
That was neat! It kinda plays like a mobile game (not sure if that was intentional)
I usually make games for mobile! I guess that sensibility came through here
Interesting game and great programming, really responsive menus! I liked it!
Very unique puzzle. Quite confusing at times. I didn't know about cellular automation game either. But it has tremendous potential. I think you can polish it and release it as a game for mobile and it could gain a lot of traction! Well done!
Amazing idea. Loved it!
Really recommended for puzzle likers.
I didn’t know of Conway’s game of life before but this game has made me interested in it :D Nice and challenging puzzle, and the music + sound effects fit the game atmosphere well
The game is very amazing!
This puzzle game has a solid base! You can carve out a nice game with this concept!
Though the game does'nt match the theme quite well... but forget the jam, you can turn this into an amazing puzzle game!
Great Job!
This is such a hidden gem, this is a very original and adcting puzzle game! It takes a while to get to it, and it gets very tricky with a lot of "transformations" . I would love to see a full review of this game, very promissing, great job!
Not only a very original take on the prompt, but, a very original puzzle game as well, well defined and clear cut rules and I love how much visual and auditory feedback there is throughout the entire thing, really helps with how mindbending the puzzles get. Really great job!
Very unique take on the prompt. Clear rules are set in place, and the puzzles appropriately scale in difficulty. I like how the rules are always there above the board so you can re-think your moves (I found myself stuck at a lot of them). Overall, excellent job! :)
very fun game and challenging and i love the music you used and the design is nice, good job
