I love the style of this game, I just wish there was a bit more here. I really hope you will keep working on this to turn it into a full game, I can definetly see that working out.

Really well done. (Also the monster outside looks like a cool guy to hang around!)

This game has a lot of potential, and a compelling start, and I'd love to see more! Good job.

I want to play the full version when it comes out. You have a very strong start here, and a wonderful atmosphere. Squash those bugs and make this game shine! Keep up the good work!

Amazing atmosphere and aesthetics, even if it's short, you made a great base for the game.

I was really excited to continue the game, too bad it was this short :(

Please continue to develop it  :D

The atmosphere of this game is really nice. I would love to play a longer version of it, the art style oozes character. The take on the theme is really unique and it's a nicely polished game. Well done!

Too scary, can't handle.

The atmosphere here I think is something that could really be utilised after this jam, awesome work!

resizes windows and causes my windows to go a little nutty when I try to play.

Developer

Try putting it into windowed mode, under video settings. If it persists, let me know.

I really enjoyed the graphics, atmosphere, and world building of this game.  I'd love to play a fuller version of this idea

The game is short but very well polished and I love the overall atmosphere. I think the game has great potential and has a very unique take on the theme, I felt really really creeped out the whole time despite the fact there weren't any jump scares or real horror in the current version. Overall great job and good luck on fixing the bugs!

I played this game while doing my 25 required games, but it wasn't one where I could rate it beforehand. After wrapping up my 25, I've come back and rated it.

Was a lovely game, immediately I felt kinda spooked by the atmosphere, especially when I walked into that room and there was that person just looking at me like o_o

Overall I felt enticed and taken in by the environment, it was a shame I felt like you didn't adhere to the theme too much with what you currently had in the level design, BUT, genuinely, I feel like you have something great going on here, and I am curious as to how you could expand on this. The build up is great, the pixel environment is lovely, and I swear every time I look at a window I just suspect something will just pop out of it. Great stuff!

Well... I wish it was longer, but still a great presentation to a cool game. Great idea for a game about losing control! Great work here!

I'd also really appreciate feedback on my game (Only if you want to) https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/695512

Yeah, its unfinished, I see. Looks pretty sick tho hahah maybe.

I saw you could go super fast while holding shift. Is that a dev tool left in?

Developer

The unfinished sprinting was meant to be disabled, yeah. I had to cut a section with a monster (where the player would need it), so I forgot about it! Thanks for letting me know about it!

Absolutly adore the artstyle! Very mysterious beginning that had me wanting to find out more!

Wow when I saw which engine you used I tought it was going to look very ugly, but damn did you nailed the art style! Bravo
