I got stuck on the 3rd level and no matter whom I possed or what ability I used I could not remove the boxes...Oh, maybe I was supposed to destroy the turret with the blue guy... Overwall, the idea is fun and at first I thought I was a baloon with an amazing high jump and double jumo only to remember that I was ghost...lol

Developer(+2)

Thank you for the feedback and yep, it's a ghost lol.
At the third level you where supposed to get down on the floor where the blue soldier is, get all the way to the right and posses the cientist, then you would use his skill to operate the computer (the one with "on" on it's screen) and turn off the turret at the begining. After disabling the turret you would be able to get over it and posses a mutant behind  it, the mutants are the ones who can destroy the crates.
However due a glitch, you wouldn't be able to do it in time anyway since the mutant can't pass through narrow corridors.
The team will fix the game after the jam is officially over.

Really cool concept! Loved the art style, and the increasing difficulty. Well done!

Developer

Thanks, the team apreciates it.

Nice pixel art and level design ! GG :)

Developer

Thank you, we apreciate it.

Omg, you've literally stolen one of my ideas for a future, thief! (just joking, but it's cool to see the execution of a similar idea from the head by someone else)
The pixel art style is really good, I would want to learn to make it as good in only 48 hours. And the colors are so well blended together. It all makes the game satisfying to play. Oh yeah, the game itself! The idea is neat, and the execution and level design are all on a high level for a game jam. Seems more tutorials would make the game better, but 48 hours really is not so much time, and you made a good job with doing such a nice game in this period

Than you so much for the compliments!  We actually got the idea from the game "Avenging Spirit" hehe,  here is a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9vrVknosUM . The "possessing the enemy" mechanic is one that i would love to see more being done, so if you have ideas for a game with that, just go for it! Would be cool to see other games with the same idea. And really cool that you liked the pixel art, if you want to improve your's i recommend searching tutorials on youtube and copying existing sprites to feel how they are actually done, at least i have learned a lot by doing this.
And yes, a tutorial is really needed for the game, we will improve it after the jam period is done.
Thank you again for the comment!

Well, who could've thought that this "brand-new" idea in my mind is so old XD
But I guess it always comes to the execution, so it doesn't matter. I'll definitely try to use this theme some day, and it will be interesting to see your opinion about it :)
And I appreciate the advice for the pixel art, Youtube is, without a doubt, a greatest teacher of the 21 century XD I'll be working on it, thanks you!

This game is certainly an interesting take on the theme and the premise is good fun! Maybe I would have liked a bit more user feedback in game and I got stuck a couple of times, but overall I think this has great potential. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for the ideas! It definitely needs polish and after the jam we also found the" getting stuck" bugs people are finding, we will be fixing them later, and thank you again, all this feedback is really helping!

I appreciate the amount of maps and level designed that you put into the game. And I didn't read the description before playing, so for me it was quite cool when I landed upon a shooter's head and made him kill his friend lol
Ah, I would make the fall speed faster just so the player can risk jumping more times without needing to wait too much for a next jump
Good job!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback and appreciation, and for sure we gonna take your suggestion in consideration.

I like how the idea and how nicely it maps into the theme. The game itself feels unfinished though.

Developer

Thank you for the comment! And yes, it is definitely very, very unfinished hahaha

It would be interesting to put some kind of tutorial in the game. I played several levels without doing any kind of interaction, just moving and jumping. Only much later I saw it was possible to possess humans haahah I liked the way you approached the theme, and I recommend you to continue the development! Peace!

Developer

Oh yes, a tutorial is definitely necessary, originally there was going to be much more mechanics and levels, but for lack of time que couldn't even put half of waht we wanted. But yes, we are definitely going to polish the game after the Jam, and thank you for the comment!

Really nice concept, but I similarly had issues possessing people, to the point where I just got stuck on the level where you come up against a turret early on. It has a lot of potential though and I love the amount of detail in your levels ^^

Developer

It is unclear why this problem is happening, but we will fix it after the jam. On the turret levels you have to use a scientist on the computer to deactivate them, but it is indeed unclear what has to be done on some levels.
And thank you for the compliment!

I had a lot of fun with this one! Good work! Sometimes I wasn't able to possess someone, and I wasn't always sure when or why I wasn't allowed.

Developer(+1)

Hello, thank you for the feedback! And indeed, the game has a bunch of bugs because of the very rushed development, i have not seen yet this specific bug with not being able to possess, the only thing i can think of is that you cant possess while possessing someone, for that you have to unpossess the actual body first and then posses another, the controls can be a little bit confusing sometimes, but we will definitely try to make the game run smoother after the jam.
And thank you again for the comment!
