Music and art are really nice.

Maybe the robot shouldn't lose control, or move in realtime

The attack animation shows left/right while it is up/down

You can get stuck in the middle

It takes too long for the attack to happen? so spamming won't kill them?

Developer

thank you for the feedback. Yeah I realized the attack took time after words when watching someone stream. I can see how that would be really confusing and frustrating.  I think one of my main issues was that I myself didn't really truly try to play the game so I missed a lot of these issues. If I ever decide to work on it more I'm definitely going to try to address al the issues you have brought up. Thank you again for playing my game

The idea of the game is fun and nasty at the same time. Visually it looks good. Gameplay-wise, it's a little bit hard to get to the bottom of rules at first, but it's easy to start. Well done.

Developer

thank you for the feedback. Yeah I need to remember that onboarding the player is super important. Gotta remember that no one knows the game like I do haha. I think I'm going to try that approach in the future. first build the tutorial/onboarding first before moving on to more complex things

Ok, finally a submission that used the poops besides me, yay XD Although, you took that to a whole new level
About the game. I found the concept very interesting. It was kind of hard in the beginning, and I think you might consider making the learning curve smoother. Hopefully, you will decide to keep working on this game and concept. But in any case, great job and good luck!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback. Haha you have poops also that's awesome I need to check it out.

I wanted to have sort of a tutorial level that walked you through how to attack the different enemies and how to break the barriers that area created by the stains. And explain how when there are 10 poops/pees that you lose control or if you touch the dog.

But I ran out of time. I think in the future I need to start off making the tutorial before moving forward haha. that way I won't run out of time to onboard the player

Just make sure to make the actual game and not just the tutorial next time ahahah
But sounds good, best of luck!

A funny design, a curious idea, but it was difficult to remember the rule about the directions of attacks. I think it would be cool to hide a hint about the direction in silhouettes of sprites.

Also, I was initially confused by the long (albeit cool) animation of the disappearance of enemies, not synchronized with the last delivered strike (In the sense that the delay in the death animation seemed excessive to me).
In general, this is a pretty good game, which makes you think about the next move and the changed controls.

Developer(+1)

yeah I realized that it's really easy to forget the direction for attacks for even know they existed at all. I saw on stream someone playing and noticed that if you attack a bunch it will interrupt the death animation. so that probably needs tweaking.
Thank you for the feedback. and thanks for playing

Funny game! I enjoyed it once I figured it out, but it took me a while to get there. Great work overall.

The smiles of the pee and poo are adorable!!

It's a really cool idea, but a lot to take in at once. I found it hard to remember how to attack which enemy, and I think reversing the controls works better in a game that is not turn based. But the nice aestetics make this a really cool entry!

Developer(+1)

Thank you. Yeah I thought about the reversing the controls if you pay attention and go slow then the reversed controls won't be a big deal, but If you're kind of just doing one move right after another you might accidentally go the wrong way. I tried to add in an audio alert to let you know when the robot was angry and lost control to help you remember to pay more attention,

I had one idea where one of the losing control effects for the robot was going to be automatic movement, but I didn't get time to add that one in.  It probably would of been really annoying haha.

I does take a bit to get the controls, but once you get it is a really enjoyable game.

Developer(+1)

thank you very much. yeah unfortunately I didn't get any playtesting in before submitting to see if the controls made any sense. I didn't even really get a chance to properly play the game haha. I was like fingers crossed I hope this works.

I had an idea for something along the lines of stages once you killed so many enemies or something you'd get a choice of a random perk, and then the board would be cleared and maybe new enemies or obstacles. But I was glad I at least got what's in the game implemented

Please give this game a chance. once you understand the controls, you can really get addicted to the mechanics this game naturally has. Very few games have I found in this Jam that have brought me wanting to replay them as this one does.

Developer(+1)

glad you enjoyed playing it. I honestly had no idea if the game was any fun haha

A cute and chaotic idea executed pretty well! Definitely lost control of the robot and the entire situation quite a few times. :P I like the music, and the art is pretty neat as well. Nice job! :D

Thanks!

thank you so much. what's funny is this game is somewhat based on my real life right now , b/c I just got a puppy and it's a very tiny one so she's like a ninja and I am like when did you even make this mess I've been watching you this whole time haha
