It is way easier to have the ships together all the time and disconnect -> reconnect shortly when you have to pickup something, mabe a cooldown or something to disincentivize that behaviour would be nice. But of course it was way more fun to play it in the intended way! :D
Cool game!
Fun game, definitely a high skill ceiling - you could have some wicked hard levels later on, with splitting up ships.
Idea is nice! Controls are little slippy though :O

Having to split attention melts my brain!! Having the space bar pra rejoin ships was a nice fix to that
Cool game, I like the movement control and the concept has a lot of potential! Would love a two player variant as well.
The movement felt fluid, but was a bit hard to handle both ships at the same time.

I liked the link between two ships idea, but was kind of hard to handle when not linked so you end-up always linked and just unlink very quickly when getting the stars.
Linking/docking ships it's kind of a nice think to play with I admit :-)
Interesting concept! Another idea could also be to only let the link collect the points, this way you have to split up. Cheers

Thanks, yeah the spawn area is empty, because I didnt want any enemies to spawn directly beside the player at the beginning.

Thanks! If you want, you can adjust the spawn probability for a few objects in the settings. I ran out of time, so I wasn't able to optimize the world generation.
