Nicely done. I did find a bug where one of the green crabs moved out of bounds. Can't remember which level though

Good job though

good game, well made and implemented

nice art, interesting idea, and well implemented. Good job

Nice puzzles. The music was also good. Rules were clear and difficulty increases through out the game, so I wasn't confused what to do.  Was there some reset button, because I couldn't find it?

Developer

Reset button got left on the cutting room floor. Running your slime into a hazard was quick enough to reset (if a little unintuitive) so it got deprioritized. Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

I was in the rooom with lots of slimes and forgot that I can reset the level by steping into the trail from the slimes. So sorry, I will give your game second chance.

Developer

No worries. Thanks for checking it out!

Very fun puzzle game. I love the fact that each slime has his unique ablities.

Hope we'll see more of it!

This was a very fun romp! I expected something average and played out by “enemy movement is tied to your movement” but the unique characteristics of the different slimes and uncoupled enemy types added a lot more thought and variety to the puzzles. Although, it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the green slime goop eventually dissipates. Altogether a very fun time.

(also - thank you for adding color assist! here’s at least one person who benefited from it <3 )

Developer(+1)

If one person benefitted from the color assist, the feature was worth it! Thank you so much for playing!

Double thank you for persisting through the green slime level. After rating, I have a level designed to teach that better.

@CFHM very good game I enjoyed solving the levels it just feels great to figure that out, good one keep working on this one after the jam :D

Submitted(+1)

Love the mechanics and the level design is super solid! Great puzzles! The art and music fit really well too!

Submitted(+1)

Solid mechanics, I think you're onto something! I like having to strategize between which slimes I move and jumping back and forth.

The SFX and music fits well, the levels are challenging and fun. I also like the art-style!

Congrats on submitting!

Cool concept, i liked how each slime was different and also they interact with each other, it was cleverly designed and balanced. Well done on the level design too!

Original mechanics, and a lot of interesting levels! I think you could add many more levels and still keep the puzzles fresh. The custom "slimey" sound and music is great too. (I saw this on the stream and had to check it out.)

Great game , music and sound design! Reminds me of Baba is you.

I liked your funky music! I think it was clever design to make it so red could push green and blue slimes.

Nifty idea, and pretty clever puzzles! It's impressive how much nuance you were able to get out of this concept, the amount you were able to keep iterating off your initial idea is super cool. Great work!

The level design is really good! Very unique and interesting. An undo feature would be nice, but for 48 hours it's fine to not have it. Solid game!

Developer(+1)

Reposting my thoughts on an undo button from below:

I think an undo button undermines the point of having a failstate. That being said, level 7 is far too long and punishing without an undo button. I'd like to believe each level can be designed so an undo button isn't needed, but I'm certainly not good enough a designer to pull that off well.

Thanks for playing! I really appreciate it!

Submitted(+1)

That's completely fair and a really good argument. It's your game and you can do whatever you want with it!

Really fun Sokoban style puzzle game, great puzzle design and music. Love the accessibility features.

Submitted(+1)

Really fun puzzles & great presentation/atmosphere. Only nitpick is that I accidentally clicked "retry" several times instead of continue because the text/box was so tiny. Great work!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it! And yep, I accidentally overlapped the text boxes. Thanks for the nitpick! Every time someone tells me is just helping me remember to not make the mistake again in the future :)

Very clever design, interesting take on the theme, keep it up. Good job!

I love this! The puzzles are so well-thought and varied. I think my only complaint is the movement speed being a bit slow per step,  as I usually  prefer  to be able to move and undo moves quickly (almost instantly) in these type of grid-based puzzle games.  Other than that, amazing work! :)

Developer(+1)

Totally agreed. I was having a weird bug based on movement overshooting and triggering collisions before snapping to the grid position and my bandaid fix was to lower move speeds to reduce the chance of that happening. I've gotta completely rewrite the movement to fix it I think, but it will definitely be worth it so I can release this as a full game. Or I could just take out the animation movement and make them all snap to place. But that seems less fun.

Game dev, amirite??

Submitted(+1)

The presentation is fun, the puzzles are engaging and the music fits perfectly. It's hard to find any flaws without being nit-picky. Great Job

Developer(+1)

Please be nitpicky, fellow slime dev! We're all here to learn from the jam, so any feedback is welcome. The more times a flaw or opportunity is pointed out, the more it makes me think about it and remember it for future games. :)
