I love me a good Skele game! The swinging mechanic was really interesting in this one, and it was overall really fun to play! My only complaint is how hard it was to get up stairs xD
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! We definitely could've improved traversing stairs with more time, however I do hope that the difficulty wasn't solely detrimental, and offers a bit of an interesting challenge.
It was easily passable with a bit of patience, and didn't really cause too much harm! The gameplay itself was still very fun and the little character was loveable <3
Thanks! Glad you had fun! The stairs were definitely an annoyance. Since we programmed the skeleton's movement by just applying a sideways force, stairs didn't work super well. We wanted to make it so when you were on stairs, it applied a diagonal force to make stair traversing a breeze, but we ended up not having time, sadly. I hope it wasn't too much trouble!
Totally understandable, 48 hours is not a lot of time when trying to get everything done!
Physics could definitely use some tweaking, but the music and art is lovely! also good use of the theme and the puzzles are pretty good. If it controlled just a bit better that would really make it!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked the art
Thanks! I definitely would have liked some more time to work on the physics for this. I think one main problem was that it was super easy to shove yourself into another object, then latch on with your grab before the normal force could shove you back out, so you were effectively inside another object while holding it, making for some glitches.
Glad you liked everything else though! I hope you had fun playing!
This was a strange one. I think the glitchiness of some physics is my only real gripe. I really like the game. Also are there no inspectors see the um skeleton in the milk?
This factory really had it coming..
Thanks! Yeah, physics would have been a good thing to work on, but sadly we ran out of time to fix all the bugs.
Do you really think that factory has milk inspectors? I mean, with the number of lethal pitfalls, unsupervised machinery, and lack of any fire exits, it would have been shut down instantly with any inspectors at all.
Great mechanic, but a little tip for you is not to scale pixel art up or down, because that makes pixel sizes inconsistent. I'd love if you could check out my game as well :D
Thanks for the tip. Your game looks pretty nice, so seems like a good thing to keep in mind. Some of that does seem to be a problem with how we exported. We noticed like, half an hour before the submissions were due that HTML exports make some of the pixels scale weirdly, but we had no time to figure out what was up, so we decided to leave it.
I hope you enjoyed the game despite the weird graphics though!
Fun game to play - however draging the head is somehow frustrating when you retry a puzzle for the 5th time.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah, we would have liked to tweak the physics and controls to make them easier to work with, and less glitchy, but sadly we ran out of time. Thanks for the feedback!
Fantastic game! A little frustrating in some points but it feels rewarding to win
I'm glad you liked it! if I may ask, what part did you find the most frustrating?
The part where, after the vent, I had to grab on a cheese and get to the other side, because at first I wasn't able to grab the cheese lol. And also the puzzle on the background, it took me some time to get the cheese successfully on the button
Ah, thanks! good to know!
The concept is very good and the puzzles are fun although sometimes it is difficult to control the character, as such it is a very entertaining game, great job :D
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback too!
The graphics were clear and simple, I love 'em.
The music was great too, it didn't get annoying.
The game play was a bit frustrating, but that's a physic game's core most of the time.
The puzzles were simple to figure out but hard to execute, overall was enjoyable.
Not bad at all, good job!
Thanks a bunch! We definitely would have liked to tweak controls a bit to make Skele-Tony a bit easier to move around, but we didn't really end up having time for that. I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the annoying movement!
Was able to some really cool stuff but a checkpoint system would have been nice since I keep getting stuck trying to do stupid things
We planned on putting in checkpoints but scrapped it due to lack of familiarity with the physics engine, T-T
Yeah. Our original plan for the game included checkpoints, but by the time we figured out how to implement them without glitching the physics bodies we were using all over the place (literally one line of code changed. I'm so annoyed I didn't think of it sooner), it was too late to edit and submit again.
Super fun! Only slightly frustrating physics :D But that was part of the fun.
Thanks a bunch! I think checkpoints might have helped too, cause I've soft blocked myself a few times and had to restart from the beginning... That being said, with a bit of finesse it's possible to pull of some crazy moves!
A skele-ton of fun!
Skele-Tony approves
Ooh. Damn, wish we had thought of that pun. Could have incorporated it somewhere.
Everything is really well done. great mechanic idea. great artwork. Good puzzle design.
Great game
Thanks for the nice comment, and thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Great game! Original soundtrack, background, and all the art assets. Unique twist on platformer with a "detached" spinal body. The level is lots of fun, amazing work!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks! Glad you had fun! It was fun to work on too!
