The sprites were cute and the movement was easy to maneuver

i thought this would be really hard singleplayer but it was still pretty doable AND pretty fun! it felt good to figure out how to fling myself over a pit

I loved this game! It was pretty easy to understand you got what was supposed to be happening across to the player easily. The art was pretty nice as well. Maybe you could have tried to do something with the background aswell so it doesn't look so static. Anyway i liked the game and would appreciate it if you would try out my jam submission as well. :)

Thanks for playing! I'm glad it was intuitive enough for you. I was slightly worried whether it would be or not.

This was fun! I like the elastic feel and the sound effects as well

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm glad I got the elastic to feel good.

Good stuff, good game idea, actually looked, felt, and sounded like playing a real video game. I feel like you succeeded in communicating what the player was supposed to do in a lot of puzzle situations without having to spell it out, but I felt like the controls were just too slippery and difficult to do what you wanted to do most of the time.

When I got to a boss monster thing, I couldn't figure out what to do to continue, and just gave up after dying 10 times or so.

By the way thank you for adding controller support! This game definitely is far more playable solo with a gamepad in hand. :)

Glad you enjoyed it and yeah I'm definitely glad I added controller support, if only for myself when testing. To defeat the monster you both have to stretch out then if one character stops moving then they will be catapulted in to the monster to damage it. Granted there wasn't a tutorial for it so it was hit or miss whether it clicked with the player or not. Thanks for playing!

Cool game concept!

I don't know if I was playing an old version of the game (I downloaded the Mac version), but I don't think the button on the second level did anything when I pressed it.

Wish I could've made it further; I like your game's concept and art style!

Developer

Glad you like the style! Thanks for playing.

Assuming the button thing wasn't a bug) To press the button you have to "crouch" on the button to make yourself heavier and press it so it goes green.

I was a bit unsure whether everyone would recognise it or not or if the visual language would be ok (I wanted to avoid obvious hints) so I wouldn't be surprised if it was easily missable.

Oh, lol, that's got to be what it was! I must have mistaken the drop shadow on the characters for the button being toggled (the button didn't turn green). I'll give the game another try now that I know how to press the buttons :)

Fun and cute game. I really liked the explanation being embedded into the game.
