The idea is great and i like this tough level design which challenges player. The swimming animation is just brilliant xD Congratulations, good job! Considering its your first game its awesome :-)
Thanks so much! I really didn't expect people to like that much.
Hey this is a great game! Congrats on your first Game Jam. The only issue I found was that I was able to get myself stuck in the sand in a level and had to wait for the oxygen level to deplete, but other than that, this is one of the more enjoyable games I've played thus far.
Oh my, didn't think someone would like my game so much. Thanks! Yea the game is really buggy and unpolished, but I started programming using godot in march so I'm not the fastest to code. Thanks again!
nice game.
Thanks :D
I really like the mechanic, it's easy to understand and fun to play !
Thanks! I personally though I didn't make the game clear to understand, but I'm happy you liked!
I liked this a lot! Fun creativity with the oxygen tube mechanic!
Thanks so much! Took some time to get the mechanic just the way I wanted but I got it right in time!
This was pretty impressive for your first Jam game, it felt challenging (especially if you wanted to get a high score) while still being fair! Presentation took a bit of a hit because of the music and saturation, and I wish it had been a bit clearer how many times you could freeze your line (I only noticed the counter for it on the actual last level...), but this was one of the most fun ones I've played so far and used the theme in a creative way.
Thanks! Yea, I agree that the presentation wasn't clear and I should have polish it, but it's a 48 hours game jam after all
I think you have a good concept here, but the colors were too bright and saturated, sometimes the keys felt a bit unresponsive, but I think this concept and gameplay could be polished or made more diverse. Especially the music. it's a good start and I think this can really improve
Thanks! Maybe I'll polish it after the jam ends
The gameplay is really nice. I think you could easily make your art easier on the eyes if you lowered the saturation of your colors. It's pretty good for your first jam!
Thanks so much! To be honest I don't know how I didn't noticed that the colors are so bright, I usually am the first to complain about something not having a dark mode hahaha. Thanks for thr feedback!
Interesting core mechanic and pretty decent level design. At first I though "Points left" was telling how many coins are remaining.
Sorry for that, I didn't really knew how to call those haha
The idea of breaking line to avoid hazards is fun and has some potential. However I don't know, what the coins were for if the goal was just to get to the... rocks.
It's cool that you decided to try with your own artwork and music but I left the comment on that for the others here :P
Thanks for playing! The coins I just made to get score and a little extra challenge, nothing special
great idea but music is uhh.... not really good? the sprites could be better. Controls are fine, it would've been beeter if you could stay in one place and not fall down.
ok i heard this was your first game jam. this was a pretty good game for the first game jam! but you should still improve with the feedback i gave you!
well, Im not a musician, nor an artist so Im not very good at both. I wanted to make something platformer-ish, thats why you fall (also part of the difficulty)
alright!
Music make me cry
Pretty Good for your first game jam! I couldn't figure out how to pass the level with the jellyfish in the flapy bird like positions.
Thanks so much! I though this was all exiting and hard, and don't worry about not passing the level, the game has just 8 levels anyway.
