Thank you so much ! I don't know if this concept will be good in a longer game. It's a bit exhausting to play. But maybe with some changes, there is something to do.

I never thought of playing it with another player but this is definitely a fun way to play it !

Everything is greatly polished. Art, audio, difficulty, game feel. Very impressive.

I could say that you're almost always overloaded with juice and you almost never have to worry about not having enough juice. But you have to dodge the barrels and it increase the difficulty. So it's more a matter of choice than a flaw of design.

Awesome entry !

Yes, I agree with you on the lack of feedback. This is something I will keep in mind for futur jams.

I thought about controlling the interface with keyboard but I found that more difficult than with the mouse. Maybe it depends on people, I should have proposed the two options.

Thank you a lot for the feeback !

The combat system really reminds me of super mario rpg and I loved it. It's a difficult type of game to do in jams because it takes so much time to have good fighting mechanics and interface not to mention the overworld movements. Congrats on trying this, I've seen that you have continue to work on it, I'll go check that.

I have the same feeling for the movements that abesmon describes in his review. The spinning plateform reacting to the weight has potential but is a bit tricky to use, sometimes you get ejected way too fast. I would like to finish it but the fact that you have to restart everything if you run out of lives makes it really difficult. I think the game is difficult enough without the lives system.

It's really cool to have made a little cutscene for the intro.

With just a few tweaks it could be a really great game ! I hope to see you in some future jams !

Love the art style. The controls are good but maybe if you could move while aiming it would be more flowing to move around. Would have loved to have some more levels, great work !

Yes I totally agree with you on the button mechanic. It clearly lacks of a visual feedback.

Thank you very much for the feeback !

Ahah thank you ! I like challenging games so I tried to put some difficult levels at the end, but the difficulty curve is too abrupt. I should have add some more levels to smooth this.

You need to have the energy bar of the corresponding color to at least 60%. There is a text tutorial for this at one checkpoint. But I understand that if you missed it, there is no visual feedback to this. This could be better indeed, thanks for the feeback !

Very interesting way to move the blocks, it's hard but fun. The mechanics are a bit complex but the level design teaches you this pretty well. I was stuck on a puzzle so I think I was missing something in the mechanics (or maybe I was just too dumb to solve it lol). The art is really good too, great work !

Loved the controls, feels really nice and intuitive to jump around. Difficulty curve is great taking into account that levels are randomly generated. I would have loved to have more challenging plateforming with these controls !

Great work overall.

Graphics and voice acting are incredible. It's a little too repetitive so I would have loved to have more silly things to do on the computer ! Good balance on the difficulty.

Très beau travail !

Good game, the different character really change the way you play, it's a really cool feature.

I just had a problem where sometime i loose and the message is unreadable (there are two texts at the same place) so i don't know why. But knowing me i maybe missed that from the tutorial.

Good work and shout out to the music, it's so rare to have vocals in game jam !

Yes i did all the levels. I didn't see the popup message, my bad !

Yes, the visual indicator is not visible enough. thanks for the feeback !

I've seen that other 3d games had the same problem with mouse and web export. Sadly,  don't make 3d games so I don't know how to fix this. Maybe you can find some help on the discord sever.

Nice game, completed all the levels, I wish it had some harder levels for more challenge ! The concept is great with the theme. I think you just need to add some text to tell the player which key to press to toggle the switches.

Good job !

Great game, well polished and easy to undestand the gameplay. It would have been so cool to have different things to do for each distractions, but so much more work. In godot you can also easily export your game to web so people can play directly in the navigator. It will be played by more people and you'll have more feedback.

Congrats for your first jam, hope to see you again !

Congrats on finishing your first jam ! The controls are good but maybe put all the abilities on adjacent keys.

It's a bit difficult to advance while dodging all the projectiles of the out of screen ennemies.

Try to add some free sound effect if you do another jam, it's not much work in godot and it makes such a big difference.

Good work for a first time !

Great and original game, it must have been really fun to write all the thoughts !

Thank you so much !

Great game ! The controls feels really nice and smooth. I love the way you can throw clothes at the customers. It's really polished, there's a lot of details. It's fun and well balanced, congrats.

Good idea, simple but effective. Didn't have any problem with the controls. At first I thought that the pieces would fall on the leaning side but it would have been a nighmare ahah.

I really like the take on the theme, I was overloaded with frustration. But thanks for warning me.

I think everyone tried to overfeed him to see what happened. I'm no exception. What a cruel world.

Really good idea ! You should have added some visual or audio clues that your mana bar is almost overload. The balance is good but too bad the difficulty doesn't change (or i didn't see it).

I just had a little bug when i tried to make a lvl 6 spell and the icon stayed on the grid even if the spell was launched.

Great game overall, fun and easy to understand/play, good job!

I didn't understand the text explanations at first but once you play, you understand quickly how it works. Fast and fun endless runner mixed with roguelike elements. Maybe more treasure nodes would have been great to have more differences between runs. But I understand that it's harder to balance.

Great game overall, good job !

Original and cool game. Easy to understand and play but harder than it looks. I didn't understand the last level, too much unkown parameters.

Congrats on finishing your first jam ! Good stealth game, easy to understand and play, no bugs found. It would have been interesting to have another mechanic than just dodging the guards.

There is a way to get it but from what i have seen, everyone is going for the "take a hit" strategy. This level is badly designed.

Sorry for you head  and thank you very much !

(1 edit)

If you have a QWERTY keyboard try Q and W maybe.

Thanks ! Yes I'm not satisfied with the level design, it's actually pretty bad because it doesn't teach the mechanics to the player.

Ah didn't think about this, sorry ! I will remember this for futur jams.

Did you made the music ?

Nice pixel art of frogs :D The tongue mechanic is a bit hard to use since you don't know when you can reach a wall with it. The level 4 is hard compared to the previous levels. It's a really cool game and idea,  had a lot of fun !

The idea is very clever and the puzzles are good. Even if some functionalities which could make the combination of modules easier are missing, the system is well done and understandable. Very good job to do this in only 48 hours !

Nice game ! Would be more enjoyable with a little bit of turorial for the magnets. Also if you work with Unity you can easily make the game work directly in the browser. This way you will have more people playing the game and more feedback !

Thanks for the review! Making levels is one of the thing I love doing with puzzle game, but I lost so much time trying to fix the movement link. Sadly, I didn't found a way to fix this properly.

Great puzzle game, very polished and fun to play. The difficulty curve is well done, very challenging.
