This is definitely a fun take on Joined Together! (interestingly it would work for last year's GMTK as well)
I think it's main problems right now are clunky platforming, and the camera follow feels way too aggressive and makes it a little hard to follow where you are.
Some of the art for the game is upscaled (mostly the sign and logo) and looks a little off. The idea is fine, but I think the player has too much acceleration while moving and does not slow fast enough. It seems you were inspired by Super Meat Boy. The game gives me a very similar vibe (which is a good thing tbh). Good job tho on finishing your game and posting it a time. Wish you much luck and patience with future projects.
The game idea is really cool, maybe the best one I have seen! Some of the art looked weird when scaled up but that’s okay. I didn’t know the chain meant at the start but I figured it out quickly. The level was designed really great an the player was really fun and smooth to control. The collisions on that spike wheel was a little bit of or maybe I just hit it, it made me really mad. I will definitely visset this in the future and beat the world record
I'm glad you enjoyed it, my record is around ~2:30, maybe not the fastest possible but had to not die at all for it.
Fun game. Although the artwork felt a bit "mix and match", it was made up for by the smooth player controlling.
Yeah, not much I could do about it when not having the time or skill to make the art myself and having to rely on free assets.
This game was very fun. I liked how you could not just jump over the pit the second time you play. Very nice.
Very cool idea with some tricky platforming. Good job.
I really liked the concept, and I don't know if it was intentional that you couldn't jump from ladders, so I got a bit stuck on the first "chaining", but I liked the game!
The intention was to make you have to use the ladder instead of just jump from the sign, but no, being unable to jump from ladders is just how the controls ended up but I found leaping from the ladder to the other side wasnt too hard to keep it that way.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The controls were a little too sensitive at times and I would have liked maybe more linient checkpoints, but overall a very pleasant little romp through platformer land. :3
Nice feel, the momentum was difficult to get used to. But a nice entry :)

Very clever concept.
Especially liked how signs become an unexpected obstical.
Would have been nice to see it go a bit further. Perhaps with more levels
