Holy cow, I wasn't expecting to be a hero spider... that was quite a plot twist, things escalated quickly from dinner to armageddon! Love it, made me smile so much!! :D Love the spider's Jack Sparrow like limbs, creative game play, and most of all the sense of humour!! Well done, you are a true Gamejam American Earth hero! :D

That was a pretty good trip. At first I loved the mechanic, it's developed in a way that it can punish you if you throw webs recklessly. Then it came the twist. Seriously, it's just genius. Sadly, I wasn't able to throw more webs (maybe I throwed too many?), but luckily the Eart is tough and only one quarter was destroyed. Hopefully America wasn't on that quarter ;)

Man I just love the concept. Webbing in realtime needs more work and also i am not able to attach webs to my own webs, also falling down should be dangerous. I just love the concept, although i almost destroyed the earth while saving it. But a little more fine tuning is required. Amazing !

Yeah, turns out trying to learn and then implement Unity HingeJoint ropes in 48 hours was a little ambitious. Thank you for the kind words, though!

Controls are a little finicky, but that was a fun little game, loved the twist and the ending, great job!

I wasn't expecting to defend the Pentagon from the Russians, but I definitely appreciate the twist. :D

It took me a bit to understand the concept of the game, but it was fun! It would be nice if you could fire webs while in flight. It would make the game a lot more dynamic.

Developer(+1)

Yeah there's a few different ways we could go with the webs. Ideally they would be more "structural". Like, we hacked together a system for having old webs disintegrate, but it would be better if it were a more dynamic thing. Ah well, ropes are hard!

Absolutely hilarious!

It could use some more polishing. I won my first run, but during subsequent tries I regularly got stuck unable to move, the spider just froze while bombs destroyed everything. Twice it froze with the red web shooty line still following my mouse.

Bugs?! It must be those damn Soviet commies trying to sabotage our agent!

I have a huge Arachnophobia, but the mechanic looked fun so I managed my way through lol

Really original, well done!

Good job, brave solider.

Cute graphics! I thought it was well controlled so that the food came on top of the spider’s thread. It was very original and impressed.

Nice twist at the end lol. Original mechanic, decent art and awesome sfx. You can improve the art a bit, add some variety of enemies and this could be a fantastic time killer. Overall good job!

Ohh, I like how your interpretation of the topic!

Developer

Yeah, I think a lot of people went with ropes, but I just felt like making a spider game would be fun, lol.
