interesting and unusual game! very creative!

Very interesting game ! I did get the feeling that even when picking bad voices the choir sounded just fine to me. Are the singing portions dynamic (based on your selections) ?

Developer(+1)

Yeah ! But not dynamic enough, I would say. We only change tracks based on the chosen chorist's vocal ranges. We're definitely thinking about implementing different tracks based on the skills of your chorists, as it would be more noticeable and fun, I think :)

Presentation at the highest level :)

Developer

Thanks ! That means a lot for us

An original idea for sure and the game has a very polished look and feel especially for a game jam, but in the mission for the unexpected death I got negative scores when I tried to follow the rules they gave, then decided to just intentionally break the rules and got a far better score that way?

Very original idea! The art and music is very well done. Sometimes I could have used some more hints on which singers I should choose, but I understand you can only do so much in two days. It was fun to play for a bit, I liked the jokes like Mike and the voice samples. Maybe you could have made the scoring system a bit clearer, for instance after the first lvl I had 400-something points, but is that a good or average  score?

This was a very different and great game, this is a very cool concept. I definitely enjoyed this game!

Really enjoyed this, love a good cv.  Slightly unsure of male/female vocalists but enjoyed the Mike cameo!

Nice idea and presentation.
but the game play is too confusing for me, I can't even tell some character is a guy or a girl lol.

I love the music , but i got confused on what to do in the game

I love it. The interpretation of the theme is creative and the execution of the idea is really good for a 48 hour jam.  The singing scenes could be shorter (but that might just be due to my short attention span). I loved the humor, especially all the singer profiles and sample sounds. Very well done.

This is super unique idea. The presentation is great (both art and sound/music).
I must admit though, I deliberately tried to choose the worst singers just to hear a total disaster at the end and I was a little bit disappointed and confused when that wasn't the case :D

Great job regardless!

Developer(+1)

Wow, that's a great point ! I think you're right, the singing should be horrible if you choose mostly noob singers.

Submitted(+2)

Good execution and a wild idea. Nothing else matters. +5 brownie points for mike wazowski.

Liked the idea. Not sure I really knew what I was doing or what "good" looked like but it was fun for a bit. Nice work!

Feedback is so appreciated ! Yeah, you're right, and we wanted to give more clues to the players that they did good, but we didn't have the time. We're looking forward to updating the game post-jam, fixing bugs and making it better.

I like the idea of having a skip button. Also try putting key text in a different color so that is pops for people who are bad at reading instructions like me. lol, but creative concept.
