Big fan of the assets, both music and art. Outside of the wall pinch, I don't think there's much to complain about, it was smoothly executed and feels fluid to play. I've seen rougher full games that weren't made in a jam. One of the weirdy bits was during level 9, if you try to move away from each other while keeping the rope straight, EVERYTHING GOES ABSOLUTELY NUTS. It was kinda spooky, but I wouldn't call that a game breaking bug.

A chill time, thank you, and congrats on your entry!

Not bad not bad. I especially enjoied the Art and the music, while the gameplay was quite fun. The bad bit is that sometimes the Animals got stuck on the borders and were just frustrating to get out/having to start over. Otherwise nice

An interesting little game :D! Very cute designs, and color palette - and the music loop was nice too :).

Only issue I kept having was the evil little animals kept hugging the wall - making it near impossible to herd them off it XD.

Thanks for the feedback! The walls are definitely the worst part... you can kind of pincer them off the walls a little bit, but if I'd had more time I would definitely have had them automatically walk away from objects they bump into to avoid that a little better.

very cute and a tad silly in the best way possible. I enjoyed it quite a bit :)

(one thing I keep encountering when trying out games with multiple characters to control simultaneously: it gets confusing who is controlled by what buttons when characters change their position. would be great if you show it to the player somehow, maybe with a little arrow and W over their head or something like that)

That's a good idea! I definitely ran into that problem when playtesting as well. Unfortunately I was torn between not having enough time and also not wanting too much UI getting in the way of the art

soooo relatable, hearing a clock ticking was tough

This was strangely therapeutic LOL very enjoyable. love the core idea!

Very cute and great idea ^-^

An awesome game, nice game art. Was lots of fun getting confused about which end was which and accidentally throwing all of my animals everywhere. Sometimes had trouble scraping animals off of flat edges but pincering them works pretty good.

Oh my gosh, I love the art style of this game! So cute!
The mechanic is super relaxing and fun to do, I enjoyed it quite a lot!

I did constantly get confused by the control for the first couple levels, it took some time to be able to control both characters at the same time, but I eventually got the hang of it! :)

thanks!! i was going for harvest moon: friends of mineral town w the art direction :-]

Cool concept, and very chill! I like that the herding isn't 'enemies' as such, so its chill vibes even if its hard to get the hang of at first! I would have loved to have played this with another player as well, as I think it would be even more fun with a friend rather than doing both controls myself. The music was very chill and your splash art is soooo good on the game page!

Developer

thank you, glad you liked the art !! :-]

The game’s base idea is really cool! It deserves further development! The music is really cool! Great job!! If you have some free time, can you give my game a try?

awesome game! feels very casual and relaxing and the art is very endearing. great work!

Good game. The controls where bit hard(maybe not ment for singleplayer) but the core mechanic was very clever.

A good fun game! i think the art is quite cute, and the music is good too!

Cute game. Loved the music. Whould be cool if the characters where a bit more controllable, while the pigcats (and lizrdogs), on the contrary, more unruly.

Developer

Oh, hi again! I liked your game a lot, so I'm stoked you liked my music! Thanks for coming by.

On today's episode of Fun Facts, the pigcats are called ewelings and the lizardogs are called jaynines!

I'm so sorry but the way that characters move and the speed of it was a real pain too me, and took whole fun away.

I really like the idea tho! Some more polish of the movement, and adding some more sound design would be cool :)

Rope went a little haywire a couple of times, and cornered animals were a big pain, but overall a fun little herding game.

And, like lafferty said: the music was top shelf. Fit the game perfectly.

really fun game, the movement is a bit "icey" but still i had a lot of fin gj

Overall I enjoyed this. The music was very fitting -- it felt like an interesting western-scifi-hillbilly vibe. The controls were good, and I'm impressed with the number of levels you got in!

Some of the frustrations were very good -- trying to dodge around trees + posts, herding different species... but getting an animal off of the edge was sometimes difficult.

Developer

I'm glad you liked the music! That really means a lot to me. Hope you enjoyed our little game!

Thanks for the feedback!

I think that getting an animal off of the edge is easily the biggest flaw of the game - I wanted to make them walk away from obstacles after hitting them, but it was one of the things that fell by the wayside unfortunately.
