First of all the athmosphere is amazing :O I love the shadow hands (reminds me of dont starve :D )

The sound effects are utilized perfectly the foots steps and chains sounds really adds to the games athmosphere.

The only thing i didnt like is the hitbox of the prisoners :/ They get snatched pretty easily.

Other than that it was a fun experience loved it :D

Overall, GREAT GAME :D

Other people have already said it, but cool atmosphere! I think it makes it stand out among some of the other games.

Really cool atmosphere, i thought i had to do something about the hands at the beginning but eventually figured it out. It was a nice experience, it's nice to try out games that are not entirely based on action from time to time. Good job!

Great atmosphere, I really liked you take on the theme.

The theme and aesthetics are great. I like the atmosphere. Thats a banger piece of Art.

The dark and eerie atmosphere. The fear of losing those souls. Its perfect. Sometimes I decided to sacrifice a few souls to get rid of the hands. A real shame. Love the game.

Good job! The art and the music match the theme of your game. You can add something which can protect the souls from getting caught.

Love it!

I really dig the art and the music sets a dark tone. The shadows scream Dont Starve. Overall this is very impressive for 48 hours.

Wow! The audio made me really immersed in the mysterious and creepy atmosphere (especially the chain sound). The graphics also felt really polished and I loved the story telling aspect. Overall this is a solid entry to the jam and I had fun playing. :)

The art style slapped me in the face when I just saw it (in a good way!), and the immersion is great. Definitely my favorite of the jam so far! I would really like to see this game expanded.

Definitely something we'll work on :D

Yesss! We wanted to force the player to sacrifice some souls to save others. I think if we had a way to re-organise the line and make certain souls walk to certain place it would make more sense. Thank you so much for playing :D

Really great atmosphere in this game, art and music is amazing, great job

Love the settings and sound effect, although I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong I can't save anyone xD

Nice game. Graphics are really beautiful and the music matches as well. It is quite difficult to maneuver around the hands, and there is a bug in which your cursor stays off when the event comes up (so you can't click on either choice). But overall good game and I rated it well.

The locked cursor issue has been our main bug this jam, I'm sorry we couldnt fix it in time. But I'm glad you liked the game nonetheless!

Presentation is very impressive, art, music, etc are absolutely amazing and look better than many a commercial release. The concept is original, I have never seen anything like this for me. But the sticking point for me is the gameplay. I'm not really sure how I prevent these guys from getting caught? You have minimal control over them, I don't think the light stops the hands, etc. Bit confusing, would have helped greatly if this was explained somewhere. But overall, very very impressive, supremely polished.

We'll definitely develop the gameplay further in the future. We sadly just ran out of time to test and had to accept that the souls are just going to get caught sometimes. The idea is that the player could sacrifice some of the souls to make the journey easier for the rest by clearing the path a bit. It was a more nuanced moral thing that we didnt explain well at all. But we'll work on it!

Thank you so much for the review, it means a lot to get feedback from other devs :D

Hope this team remains together, there's some real talent here :)

Amazing atmosphere, the art style and the music really fit together well!

I quite like it, it felt a little bit eerie (in a good way), and man, the visuals were super, super good! I'm not really used to reviewing games, but, especially since this was apparently done in 48 hours or less, it felt quite necessary to give you some props man. Great job!
