this was an original take on the theme, it was also quite fun
I like this idea a lot! It very nicely visualises how these traffic jams at the highways happen out of nowhere, it's like a wave that goes trough the cars that actucally has no solid reason. I enjoyed being the jerk and making other crash because of my braking!
It's cut off on itch.io, but just below the play screen is some debug UI about the NPCs. They have four modes: ride ass, back off, break check, and escape.
I want to play around with this game a bit more to try to make it aggressively jerkish driving
Fun and surprisingly tactical, I'd love to see a multiplayer variant
I finished 2 and 3 player modes about 10 min after the close. Super easy, all one keyboard. It's pretty fun for something so simple I think.
I must say this was really an interesting interpretation of the theme!
That's the one thing I felt like we nailed from a creative interpretation angle.
I don’t get the point of the break pads status? And I can totally drain it?
It never really panned out, due to time stuff.
But the hope was to make it so "riding ass" gave you brake speed, and using brakes reduced it. In the game, if you drain your pads you'll barely be able to stop... but it was a last minute and incomplete addition.
I like the idea
Surprisingly deep and challenging for something so simple :)
Title is fitting, but I’d have liked it to have been more than just “conserve your brakes and don’t explode”. Maybe like some steering involved as well and a health bar for your car.

Yeah, I never actually made the win condition of "be the last of three cars".
But you did win!
This seems so simple at first, but it turns out that it can be quite hard not to crash into other people's cars ;-)
Surprisingly challenging and addicting
I really appreciate any game that can be this fun with controls this minimal. Almost a little disappointed that when it was all NPCs that they didn't just all drive in harmony forever purely to mock me.
This has some interesting dynamics! Nice to see other cars reacting to your pace. The game is still rough but the idea is good
