Navigating around the map as a wizard was fun, I wish there was more variety of wizard levels, rather than just 1, 2, 5 and 30. It could make for better progression lvl 30+ if there were more high level wizards. Maybe there could be a simple countdown to see how many levels you can gain in a limited amount of time, but it was pretty good for 48 hours.

Fun game and unique idea, the only thing that was bit frustrating, is the triple jump that sometimes let's you fall outside the platform but this could be skill issue of course.

I was so confused that space is not jump xD
Is there an ending to the game? I was at power level 149 with the lvl 30 wizard to the right...

Developer (1 edit)

No ending yet lol. We ran out of time. Thanks for playing!

I can relate to that! Check out mine it's just a prototype of the main mechanic

Developer

Will do!

I was realty interesting to look at the level through two different views. In one hand being able to move everywhere, but not being able to do anything and in other hand with limited movement, but able to catch ghosts.

The leveling up of ghost should be visible somewhere, because I was confised at first why I am still at the same level with my hunter after caching a ghost. I think more explanation of what is happening and what I should do wouldn't hurt the game.

But in the end I figured it myself, so no big worries.

Clever idea! I didn't realize how much time had passed after I unlocked the level 30 wizard and started consuming the ghosts. Once the movement is polished, I can see this becoming a fun mobile game. Good job!

Developer

Thanks!

Had fun snowballing :)

* The platforming could be frustrating. Implementing one-way collision would be a huge boost

* The platforming double jump power got to be a lot of fun towards the end, being able to ricochet across the map super fast

* Too many wizards kept spawning... my map was filled with them by the end

* I liked (what felt like) high level wizard easter eggs

I think a huge improvement would be to allow the snowball to get faster and faster. Spawning higher level creatures the higher you are, making level 1's slightly easier to catch, things like that.

Developer

Thanks for the suggestions! Glad you enjoyed the game :)

It's like one of those mobile game ads but actually delivers on it

Great job!

Developer

Thanks! That's kinda what I was thinking when we were coming up with ideas lol.

Lovely graphics! The back-and-forth gameplay idea is clever. My suggestion for future work is to add a tutorial area with some easy people to possess. :)

Developer

Ah, we were gonna do that but we ran out of time lol. Thanks for playing!
