I like the spin on this one. Managing each raider was great, but would’ve been nice to have each bound to a number key like spells or weapons in other games. Overall good job!

Developer(+2)

Thanks! I will relay your suggestion to the team right away.

Submitted(+2)

This concept is super-cool! This could be a great game. Level design is well made, I love how many possibilities this game is open-up. Great job team!!!

Developer(+2)

Awesome! Thanks! Having a great designer on our team really helped in raising our concept to this level.

Submitted(+3)

They All Must Die!! Great idea!!

well implemented mechanics in game!! well-designed levels and art works.

great work fella :)

Developer(+2)

Thanks! More to come, follow us if youd like to know when we update it

Submitted(+2)

I'm already following you fella :)

Submitted(+3)

Really cool idea and fits the theme rather well! I’d love to see a post-jam versipn of this for sure as it has a LOT of potential!

Developer(+1)

Allright Thank you so much! You may follow us, we'll had new levels and content for sure.

Submitted(+3)

Unique take on the theme. Had a lot of fun with this one. Cheers.

Developer(+1)

thank you for the feedback. Players having fun is our paycheck!

Submitted(+2)

Great interpretation of the theme, a little buggy but tons of funs!

Developer(+1)

glad you had fun.

Next  jam ill call my game : There will be bugs :)

Submitted(+1)

A really interesting idea! I think this game could use some quality of life features like being able to choose the raider you swap to, and having a dynamic jump height, but that’s by no means a necessity for a jam game. As it stands, this is well made, and the presentation is great!

Developer

Thanks! "features like being able to choose the raider you swap" it's already a thing if you push TAB ^_^
Lots more of mechanics to come! And a lot already programmed, but not enough time to make levels out of it in the jam!

Submitted(+2)

Ah, what I meant is that you can’t directly swap to a particular raider. You have to cycle through them until you get to the one you want.

Developer

Oh! I see! we'll have to think about it.

Maybe when possessing another one you could control a floating spirit.

Maybe just adding a visual effect would suffice to show you clearly which you are controlling....

Submitted(+1)

Awesome game! The idea of purposefully killing raiders to progress past parts of the level is very cool. I was not skilled enough to get all the greed in the third level lol. A little visual aid for when you swap raiders would be neat. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Yes! thats a great idea! we'll do that. visual effect and proper sounds too for swapping. noted! thanks!

Submitted(+2)

Love the idea, of course there are some bugs, but its obvious for a jam product, so I would not stick to that absolutely. Great art and great theme there, with a very interesting level design from my point of view. Good job guys, lets make sacrifice more often <3

Developer(+1)

Great, Thanks! Even AAA titles come out full bugs. Even after working years on some softwares, we still find pesky bugs.

It's all our fault programmers, If it wasn't, there would be no games! That until our job morphs into tell some stupid programming AI there's a bug and my control is reversed. machine-human  Roles reversed. They will call it a retirement plan :)

Developer(+1)

Hi! As the level designer and illustrator of the project i must thank you!!! I did all the levels and calibration of it in only 4 hours, not talking about some bugs i had to deal with during the level making! But lets say it strait: Our devs team were machines! Next time maybe will focus of doing less mechanics, but more levels! Since there are lots of missing mechanics in our prototype demo! ^_^

Submitted(+1)

I'm sure the final game will really shine! Good luck <3

Submitted(+1)

on level 2 you can get stuck inside a wall, but great game anyways.

Developer

Thanks!

We found the jank from spotty collisions handling to be kind of funny, so we kept it for the jam.

Submitted(+3)

The pixel art looks very good and the colour palette used too. The game is cool and very enjoyable !

This was a great little game ! :)

Submitted(+2)

Very cool game! the flat platforms are a little cheeseable if you jump on them and get stuck letting you jump again

Nice art too. Good job!

Developer(+1)

thanks! I love cheese so much we've decided to keep them that way ;D

oh wow this is so good. the core idea is great and fits the theme well, and the best part is that it's utilized in at least two major ways.

when you play the first level you quickly realize that you need to use bodies of fallen raiders to cross traps etc, but because there's only two of them you don't actually realize right there that there's more to it than just that.

then the second level starts, you play it the same way... and lose. oh!

and from then on you have to both forge a path through the level for yourself and also keep in mind the other requirement (not gonna spoil it for people), and that second one also keeps you on your toes at all times because it makes sure that if you fail you have to completely restart the level

this is some really impressive work. movement physics could be a bit less wonky, but that's about it. hard to nail that in 2 days unless you're using completely pre existing code, i guess. game design and level design wise this is already incredible. thanks!!

Developer(+1)

Awesome comment, thanks for sharing your experience. I tell you, even if we created the game, I ended up many times loosing by taking the orb forgetting what I had to do before! I must be too greedy :D

Submitted(+2)

I really liked the atmosphere of the game really enjoyable, the mechanics are original and I was impressed by the fact that there is no need for a tutorial ! The moment my first little guy died I knew what to do next ! Great job !

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Our level designer made sure firsts levels teach you something by your own actions. Some  take more time to figure it out. It's ok, just more fun. Sounds like your a fast learner! Enjoy!

Developer(+1)

As a level designer, let me tell you that reading this comment this morning makes me very happy to read! I will rework the levels for a DEMO 2 after the jam is over, and the mechanics will be even more obvious! Follow us to find out more in the near future! Thanks for playing!

My deceased friends have never been more useful. clever game!

Developer

In death they shall be named. hehe!

Submitted(+3)

Dead bodies! Everywhere! I hope the gods are pleased...

Developer(+2)

The Gods are very pleased. Expect a bountiful harvest.

Submitted(+2)

I really liked this. I liked the idea of not trying to finish the level on each run. Great job!

Developer

Thank you!| come back when we update it!

Submitted(+3)

I enjoyed playing the game, nice work.

Submitted(+3)

Cool game!

Love me some good old platformer with puzzle mechanics.

The mechanic of having to use the dead bodies was so cool :)

Submitted(+1)

Interesting concept to use your deaths as a means of navigating the level. On some levels though, I made it without ever having to die once, but I had to backtrack to go through all the explorers so I could beat the level I already reached the end of. Also there's a bug where jumping onto the mushrooms clips you into them so you have to jump again. I like the idea though, and would love to see how this could be expanded with more time and polish. Good work!

Developer(+1)

"I had to backtrack to go through all the explorers so I could beat the level I already reached the end"

Exactly, only true end is when noone lives to tell the story.. They die you win

Some level were specifically made easy, as a tutorial teaching you not to let anyone alive.

Sometime they just can't control greed :)

Glad you enjoyed it! we'll polish it, come back in a while.
