Really liked the music and the pixel art! I oddly found the snake in the first level where it was just the mouse and the snake a little too hard to get to crash into itself... I would maybe make it one unit longer, but that might be a me problem. Great job!
Nice entry! Mouse holes are a little OP, but really fun to use. Powerups are also a great addition, it's a shame i didn't though of adding them to my game.
Still, very enjoyable!
Fun game! I completed all the levels!
The power ups and mouse hole are great mechanics for making the snake game unique good job!
We liked the mouse holes! :) And wow, you even implemented powerups! We didn't understand what some of them do, though.
Nice little project. It sometimes happend that i can stay into the lastpart of snake's tail. Nice extension of the mouseholes.
Overall really solid game, but as it stands it still lacks some challenge. I really enjoyed the powerup though and in general have very few real gripes with the game. Well done!
Cute take on the reverse snake. I like the mouseholes on the later levels. The movement requiring constant key presses is a bit annoying, would be nice if you could hold down. I like the art and music choice, simple but clean.
I'd appreciate it if you check out my game too if you have a minute. It's also reverse snake!
Thanks for the feedback! Holding the move keys down should've worked, I'm not sure why that wasn't the case for you I never had any issues with that, sorry
I like this game a lot. When I heard a lot of people in the discord talking about making reverse snake I had a little bit of trouble imagining how to add difficulty to that idea but making you play as the food and move around really adds to it. If I had to suggest one thing though it would be to make the player have to move on a timer similar to how the original snake worked.
A very creative spin on Snake. I liked playing it!
Funny enough, the mouse holes in the later levels actually make the game easier as you could just swap places between two holes and the snake will hit itself.
Fun take on an old classic, only downside is somewhat slow controls
cool game, ive seen a couple of games like it but the idea is fun, the mouse is cute too, good job
Pretty nice game, I liked the power ups and mouseholes, but movement felt a bit unpleasant, I would make it that both player and snake move faster, also sometimes I couldn't get powerup beacause mouse was moving too slow
Cool take on the reverse snake, with some interesting mechanics ! Movement felt a bit sluggish though, could probably have just done it like traditional roguelikes, where the world moves as you do.
Simple game with a lot of potential! I really liked the little holes, they were a smart design decision :) Only real problem I have is that I wish there were more levels haha.
Good job!
Very creative, loved the twist with the mouseholes. The movement felt a bit clunky but I could see the interesting potential with the power-ups :)
thanks for the feedback!
