How does your game fit the theme?
We got our inspiration from the game called Zuma and tried to reverse the playing method. Instead of throwing balls you need to eat bugs!

I really liked the art, music. The game reminds me of some game where you have bubbles on a track and you have to connect three to reduce the chance to get to you. Well Done!

This was honestly a very fun playthrough!
Firstly such a smart idea you chosen to take a cult classic like Zuma and reverse it! truly a marvelous idea! so kudos on the creativity, gameplay wise, the execution was very good in actuality, everything works well and plays well, the controls are rigid too, gameplay loop is literally like the classic Zuma, while it gets stale after a while this is only normal because zuma my man, simplicity is the key,

visually  the game looks nice, the artstyle pleasing and the color palette soft and easyn so everything checks out, my only small complaint is, I would have liked if the game had more fancy polish, like effects and feedback, perhaps to make the experience more interesting especially visually, and set it apart from the normally very static games of this genre,
other that that this was an excellent entry! and quite the memorable one too! drawing inspiration from the axioms of idle gaming!
with more polish and a extended setting, I could see this as a great standalone mobile games or something of the sort,

Great work indeed!

Very cool idea, i like that you could create combos. It'd be nice to get some combo alerts when you do. Also you can eat the bugs faster than they spawn.

My frog's got the fastest tongue in the pond. HA! I had a blast and I did eventually figure out how to chain them properly. Great job!!!

Developer

You got that nice!!!
Thank you for trying so hard XD

Spam the mouse button to win!

Good bit of fun, and I'm always in support of feeding a hungry frog!

Love the style, the visuals are clean and easy to take in; you've nailed the speed of the incoming bugs to ensure they remain readable while moving at a decent speed.

I'd love to see some more restriction placed on how often you can eat, as you can currently survive forever by spamming at a fixed location. You could support this reduced speed with maybe a power-up of some kind on cooldown (like freeze the bugs or allowing rapid-fire for a few seconds).

Developer(+1)

That's true, no one wants to see a sad, hungry frog (like those we have on the exit button xD). The spamming problem is a real mess, but we will improve it in the future, 100%. We had an idea to give the player limited licks (20, for example), and if they hit a combo, they get +3 licks. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to implement it!

Thank you for your honest review! 🐸

A cool idea. The art is very good, and the music is cozy.

Gameplay-wise, even though it was not balanced at all since right now, u can just spam and win while in Zooma, spam doesn't work and will punish you. BUT that spamming is very enjoyable. So I like this concept anyway but maybe try to add some marbles that you can't eat? to prevent the player a little bit from just spamming. Very good and polished!

Fun idea! Loved it.

Since Amooz is reversed  Zooma I guessed we will place the balls, but to be honest this is a better take than what I've guessed. Nice!

We were thinking about the theme way too long and stopped on that :D
Glad you liked it. Thank for the review:)

Frog game! This is a really interesting take on matching games, I feel like there's a lot of room for puzzles and levels in the mechanics! Nice artwork too!
