How does your game fit the theme?
Normally in a platformer, what the player can do is determined by the physics. In this game, what the physics can do (the direction of gravity) is determined by the player

I’m pretty bad at this but it’s super fun! pretty tricky but the gravity mechanics are well implemented and fit really nicely into your puzzle designs, audio is great and the minimalistic visuals fit nicely!
Enjoyed playing through this :]
Thank you very much!
Good game! I liked tweaking the gravity with some tricks (like “resetting it” by moving in an opposite direction for slowing things up) and extra blocks to use for puzzles. Maybe it was a bit too hard for a game jam entry though. But this is still an enjoyable experience, thank you!
Not gonna lie, I was worried it would be too easy. Thanks for playing!
Great game I like the idea and gameplay its fun trying to avoid spikes and has a good difficulty great job! =)
Thank you very much!
I got stuck in a blue wall, and as far as I could tell there was no reset button T_T
Awesome game though, a bit touchy in tight spots but a lot of fun to play through. When I realized I could use the other blocks to my advantage, game changer. Loved it.
You can get out the wall if the button is pressed again, which should always be possible, but I definitely should have included a level reset button in case there's ever a situation where it is not. Glad you enjoyed the game other than that!
Not sure exactly how it happened, but in 1 level both the player and the only orange block got physically stuck in a blue wall. I think I had the button pressed down, then we moved up into the area that the wall spawns into causing both blocks to get stuck. Trying to change gravity did nothing. Definitely not something I blame you for in a jam game, but something to investigate if you go forward with this
I think I know where this would happen, will fix it if I do the post jam
Very Cool Game... Not The Biggest Fan Of The Control Just Because It Takes A While For The Gravity To Switch And In That Time The Player Most Of The Time Flies Of Into The Spike... But A Very Nice Game!
yeah that's fair. I did debate stopping all current momentum when you changed gravity, but ti didn't feel too great. The way it works is that the more speed you have in one direction, the longer it takes to slow down once you change so you can moderate your speed by changing directions constantly, but I probably should have communicated that better in the game
I'm impressed! You have a gift - love the creative idea, play on the theme, music work, and especially your art!!! Well done :D
I wouldn't call my art abilities a gift lmao, but glad you enjoyed it!
(I know I already replied to this but I thought of a better one) I don't have a gift, I have autism /lh
My son was recently diagnosed with autism - I see it as a totally different way of experiencing the world that comes with its own unique blessings and burdens. I'm glad you're doing game development, what a great hobby it is for all of us!
Overall I loved it! But would be better with effects like a screen shake when switching gravity, and an easier-to-touch end goal.
Noted, will keep that in mind if I decide to expand on it at all :). Thanks for playing!
cool game, I think its difficulty is good and its minimal design is pretty good. it is a bit hard to track the player and other objects.
Glad you enjoyed. I could probably have added a little glow around moveable objects to make them easier to keep track of. Will probably do that if I decide to do the post jam
Mind-bending, minimal, challenging.
Nice level design.
Thank you very much!
A really fun game that gets quite difficult towards the end.
The change of gravity not being instant helps the puzzles but also feels like we're not really in control of everything. The ideas being each puzzle was clever, simple things such as boxes were used in a smart way. Great entry!
Thank you very much! I really enjoy making compact levels that focus around one or a few ideas, so it's something I like to think I've gotten pretty good at. Glad you enjoyed!
Great game
Thank you!
Very cool puzzle concept and great music! One problem. I ... uhh... got stuck in a blue wall....o.o
Yeah, the way I designed the levels you should be able to get out using the boxes if that happens, but I probably should have included a reset level button just in case
really fun take on this idea, enjoyed the implementation of both platforming and puzzles as well as a lot of nice mechanics and good music! run took me 390 seconds and 25 deaths.
Thank you very much!
Awesome. Loweky wasn't expecting as many mechanics to be introduced. Really well done and satisfying to play (even though I suck at it lol)
Yeah, not really doing actual art gives you more time to make mechanics as it turns out. Glad you enjoyed it!
Incredible! I loved the puzzle mechanics but also the learning curve for controlling the squares! Cool music and title font too
Thank you so much! Having not had anyone else test the puzzles, I was a bit worried they would be too easy/hard, so it's good to see that they are enjoyed.
I liked this a lot! The momentum was tricky to figure out at first but once I had figured out going back and forth quickly it felt a lot more managable.
I like the music, it fits the game really well and the art is clear and conveys mechanics perfectly.
Great game!
Thank you very much! Other than actual level design, the momentum was probably what I spent the most time tweaking. Glad you enjoyed the game!
