Loved the theme! The soundtrack is spooky! Great job!
Really liked your character art. I do wish the candle didn't go out as fast or instead the light would alert the guards. Very good job.
what an awesome princess and loved the title screen art as well! One small thing I saw was that my head would always get stuck underneath the door and I wouldn't be able to do anything on my first playthrough, but that was fixed after a refresh!
good job! The atmosphere is great. wish it would scale better in my browser.
I love this game, great job! I had the same idea for the theme for my game! Feel free to try it out! Also, I love the art!
Amazing game! I love the darker tone and the atmosphere is very immersive.
A really simple stealth game at its core, but wow is it effective, it really felt like I was groping around in the dark, hugging walls and praying that a guard wouldn't round the corner, super tense and well executed.
We're so happy to hear that! Glad you enjoyed the spooky atmosphere.
Pretty good. The ending you get is suprisingly wholesome
We thought that the Princess has already gone through a lot trying to sneak out of a castle. We think she deserved it!
I love the art style in this game. The fire is a bit slow ahead but I love the idea
Thanks for the feedback! I think if we had more time to work on this game we would have loved to really fine tune some of the mechanics more.
thats one capable woman!
You know it!
Not bad! Curse the Hero!
Sometimes the world just feels so light...less.
A bit strained on the use of the theme to be honest but what you got from it was a very entertaining submission (though also one with a brutal learning curve 😅)
Looking back, we would have loved to add more mechanics or tweaks to the concept to fit the theme better but sometimes you just gotta stick with a concept and do your best ahaha.
Great little game, Art was really nice. That last level is really hard lol! good work!
Slime Fighter also had a pretty hard last level > : 0
while confused by the theme, I found the amount I played enjoyable even if it was very hard.
Glad you enjoyed it! We tried our best for the theme but I agree that it was a bit of a stretch ahaha.
Really beautiful pixel art and the game was fun to play! Would love a twist on the usage of the mechanics :)
Thank you for playing! I think if we ever return to a concept like this we'd love to play around with adding more mechanics like different abilities or traps, or maybe a twist on the stealth genre as a whole.
The art style and lighting system area really good, and the game is fun, good job!
Thank you!! <333333

The idea is so creative! Love the art style. It will be better if the game had more mechanic other than the lever in some levels. But it is fun to play and promise. Good job.
Thank you! During the development we realized that we were on a bit of a time crunch. In the future we'd love to try something a bit more ambitious.
I love the visual style and the whole idea of the game. Sadly the instant death feels a bit unfair sometimes (but in my opinion, that's also a very hard thing to get right in stealth games).
But it's a great game none the less, keep it up!
Thank you! Balancing difficulty is a pretty hard task that's for sure. Definitely a learning experience for the entire team!
Great art, and I really like the lighting system. The candle wasn't too necessary beyond a couple flashes, and the guard cones seemed a little inconsistent. Really cool game though, great job :D
Thank you! Hopefully we can take the things we learned from this jam and apply them to our games in the future.
