How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of the common trope of being a hero or even a villian, we wanted to explore being a minion using a platformer base to influence the outcome of the battle.

Fantastic art, music, and sound! Really loved the concept as well - I think playing as a boss's servant or minion is a great idea, and I'd love to see it developed further. Being able to harm or heal the wrong target also adds a nice element of challenge that additional bosses or heroes could tap into with different movement patterns.

As others have mentioned, you can become stuck in the floor - but hilariously enough, I was still able to catch and throw blocks where I'd been wedged. So with just the top half of my skull sticking out of the floor, I managed to defeat the hero! Had a good chuckle after that!

Great game!

Man,  the graphics are rad! BTW, Dracula's castle doesn't look like that :)

Fun game with cool pixel art, I would like to see a further developed version.
Check out Ruins of Melog! (Our GMTK 2023 Entry)

I loved this pixel art for this game! The music choice was also wonderful. Pretty professional, all things considered.

Cool game trying to help the boss. It does kind of suck when you get hit cuz you basically can't do anything afterwards if you get stuck in the middle.

Fantastic sprite work, clever theme interpretation, easy to understand. What more could you want from a jam game? This was a lot of fun to play, I would like to see the concept expanded in the future. My only real complaint is there are glitches that can leave you stuck in the floor and that there is no real ending to the game.

I found the goal of the game a bit confusing- first I let the hero kill Dracula, but then nothing happened, so I killed the hero, and nothing happened. Not sure if this is intentional.

That being said, the game is fun and silly, and I love the way you are hiding in the background layer- hiding behind the pillar was really silly and fun.

After making  pixel art for the first time for our game, I am impressed with the work that must have gone into yours!

Nice work!

Quite a unique take on not playing as the hero or villain! It really does make more sense (and is more fun) to play as a minion controling platforms from within the game, rather than as the "game designer" moving the platforms around, like other games I've seen in the game jam. Pixel art is very nice as well! Good job!

Nice pixelart, well done!

This is very cool! This game focuses on the idea of being a minion helping the villain defeating the hero, and I think with a perfect execution to be a jam game. Good job!

Beautiful visual. Well-crafted music that immerses in the atmosphere of Dracula's castle.

When the skeleton gets stuck in the floor, it looks so cute. It's clear from him that he wants to say "oh, I can't help anything, I'm stuck" ahahah

Nicely tuned and fun game. The art is great too. With some polish, this could be a really fun idea to expand on.

Great job :)

Fun game, really good pixel art -- I also got stuck when a box fell on my head but enjoyed the experience overall!

That's a very original take on the theme! Throwing items was very fun. Well done!

Really nice little idea, a solution to the objects pushing the butler into the ground it could really smooth things out, perhaps messing with the physics layers of the different objects?

Cool idea and nice graphics, but the gameplay is a bit junky. I also got stuck in the floor after a box fell on me and the hero jumped on my head.

I like the style of the game a lot! I started to enjoy it but then the character got stuck and I couldn't do anything anymore (I tried twice and ended up having the same problem)

Liked the art and the music. It's a neat concept, but it was really hard not to hit dracula with the crates because him and the enemy are always close together and dracula is bigger. Similar issue with potions.

The idea is really good, but at the end of the episode we get stuck on the ground. Other than that it's a really good game

Very cool idea, i liked how you could also hit the dracula and it was pretty hard to hit the hunter without hitting your friend. But after some time i figured out you could just go into the hunter and throw the box which made the game a lot easier, idk if that's intended. Cool game none the less and also the art, sfx and music were all fitting and nice, approved!
