Cool game, more toy than game, but thanks for sharing on stream.

The idea is very innovative! The graphics are really nice and atmospheric. Loved the SFX as well! It feels pretty polished in terms of visuals and audio, however I would love to see some more gameplay goals for the player, such as having to make a sensible footage, following certain criteria, or making the footage seamless!

Developer

Thank you for playing! The player not having a clearly defined goal was an intentional design decision, and unlikely to change in the post-jam version. I'm experimenting with "playable films", though, and that may see the light of day.

Absolutely brilliant job and a great take on the jam's theme. The ability to review your footage afterward is the icing on the cake, bravo!

Being a good cameraman is hard...

Wow, what a cool concept! I've seen other "be the camera" games, but love the ability to review footage in this one,  makes it genuinely about being a camera. Visual style is also great, reminds me of Sifu. Nice submission!

Developer(+1)

I loved Sifu, and the Museum is my favorite level in the history of levels! Really, art direction there is so great

super cool design, the animations are fantastic too!

"Really cool, but it would be be amazing if you could watch what you captured!"

"Oh"

Amazing game, I love the concept!!

It matches the theme really well, I do wish there was something more I could do other then record fight scenes. It was more like a "tool" then a game.

Submitted

I really wish there was an ending! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the animations really well done.

Submitted

This is a very cool and pretty tech demo, sadly not a game yet

Submitted

What a unique concept ! A bit frustrating to not have an ending as it does not give a "game vibe" but the polish and visuals are so great it was just a blast to navigate around. It's beautiful, Congrats :)

Developer

Yeah, I wanted to make more of a toy rather than a game. Thanks!

Really Cool Game With A Unique Idea To It And A Great Spin On The Theme! Good Job!

Submitted

This is such a unique idea and the fight scene is so well done!

Love the look and sound. The gameplay reminds me of the days where not everything was digital and easily edited. Love it.

Submitted

The concept is definitely interesting,

Pretty cool! I wish the walk speed was higher, and there were more scenes to choose from, but besides that it's a great game. The polish is really great for a Game Jam!

This is really creative and I love the visuals and atmosphere with the fog, feels like I am in another dimension

Going in a really nice direction with it ^^

Had similar ideas of "what if you're the photographer" on our team too :))

Real neat concept and super stylistic, but a little tricky to operate
