How does your game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme with that the player doesn't play golf the normal way but they have to change the course and ball moves by itself

cool idea! maybe a little bit of help system would make this game even better!

Developer

Yeah! I will definitely add it after the jam.

Love the music, gameplay and starting screen. Only downsides are no pause menu and no help menu. The concept is really good tho!

Developer(+1)

Oh, Yeah! I kinda forgot! Thank you for playing my game and I'll definitely try to add them!

Nice small game, though definitely difficult with the buggy collision and spikes. I feel the spikes could be replaced with something more nuanced like moving walls that get in your way.

Something cool to continue this game with is changing it so you can plan the layout of the course before letting the ball shoot. So it changes to be more of a puzzle game on how you can make the best hole-in-one. Plus I don't think golf-balls like spikes :P

Developer

Thank you for liking my game! I will definitely try to add more levels with more mechanics and also fix the collisions.

This has no right to be so addicting. :D

I'm not really a puzzle person, but something about circus music paired with hard challenges makes this such a blast. The levels do get really hard towards the end, but I guess that's the charm of it.

A small suggestion: I wondered if I could cheat the level by putting the grey boxes everywhere. I realized there was a limit to them. Would be good to have a counter for that somewhere in the UI.

Developer

Thank you for liking my game! And also there is a Grey box counter already. It's at the bottom :)

Oh damn, is there? Never mind then, I must be blind. :D

Can't say it fits the theme, and the collisions are sometimes buggy, but kinda fun nonetheless.

Developer

I mean it kinda fits it. And the collisions are pretty hard to implement in pygame (I really should've used unity) :D

This was a lot of fun. It was super satisfying when I got the bounce just right. There were a couple of levels (I think 4 and 5, but that might not be right), where the level automatically solved itself without any input.

Developer

Thank you! I am not a very good level designer :)

Good game!

I was stuck on level 11.
The increase in difficulty was very steep at the end but the game is very cool, although I would definetly had a "slow" mode because the ball is super fast!

Had some trouble with collisions, the ball often goes in unexpected direction as well but since the levels are short it's totally fine!

Good job!

Developer

Thank you! The collisions were pretty difficult to implement properly, since I used pygame.
