That snake gives chills to my spine! And i like it does, feels cool to avoid it! My highscore was 19!

Had some low-key horror vibes with the sound of the snake, and the anxiety of running away from something.

Very interesting kick mechanic, I found myself wanting a few more layers to the mechanic, which is a good thing for a jam game. Overall I enjoyed it, very cool.

This is incredibly fun and addicting! Probably the best gameplay of any reverse snake game I've played so far in the jam. (one of which I made!)

The snake is implemented in a great way. Its acceleration and speed are absolutely perfect for this gameplay, which makes the game very fast-paced. It's almost faster than you, which makes it feel threatening.

The food-kicking mechanic is masterfully designed and implemented. Because the food lures the snake away from you, it's beneficial to kick the food away from the snake. However, you get points when the snake eats the food, so kicking it directly into the snake is beneficial. This way, kicking the food almost always results in a good outcome, and makes you feel like a wizard. The mechanic is also polished and satisfying.

The voicelines are goofy and the art is very impressive for a game jam this short. Great job :)

Btw. the volume slider doesn't work on browser.

It looks very impressive for such a time limit, an interesting idea and implementation, I didn’t meet any errors or something like that during the game, it’s quite convenient and easy to play

Really fun although I had some brain lag at the beginning and didn' understand what to do (even though it was so clear).They graphics of the game as well as the itch io page are really nice put together! My highscore was 16! (I am not so good at these kind of games)

The sounds of the snake made it a little scary but definitley not unpleasant to play! Great work in general! 

Some things I have stumbled across and would like to see fixed in an update:

- the music in the start screen has a weird bug when waiting too long or pressing start

- I think you move a little faster when moving diagonally

Really addicting game loop you got here. Found myself lost in repeats itching for a higher score. The graphics are super polished, everything looks really appealing and cohesive. The sounds were also great, loved hearing the snake making threats as you kick the fruit. Tight scope, great execution. Really well done.

Definitely the best game i've played so far with the concept of "arcade game with a twist". The polish and visual consistency are on another level for a game jam game. I got 25 points!
