a very complex and unique game compared to most of the games in this jam which are simple. The music slaps and the artwork is pretty well made too. I didn't know u weren't supposed to kill the knights at the beginning but eventually figured it out once i lost.
Great take on the damsel in distress concept, really awesome submission for 48 hours, lots of moving parts, impressive
Very creative and nicely fitting with the theme! I was impressed by the amount of systems implemented, congrats on the submission!
Love the idea and the daily progression, with the enemies carrying over being the main issue I have with the game. Good job :)
Good interpretation of the theme, some more time spent on visuals would help communicate it better.
Really interesting concept, enjoyed it though found it quite difficult to keep people alive since damage would carry over each day. Also the ice and rock abilities always went to the right of the dragon regardless of what direction you were facing, particularly humorous watching the dragon spray ice at a knight from its rear
The ice and rock abilities aim using the mouse, but yeah they can still appear behind the dragon for a fun time
I like the idea of this game a lot. The progression system is also quite interesting, though I'd have liked some upgrades that didn't push up the damage for skills, due to how easy the enemies are to kill.
On that, I feel like I'm perhaps missing something, but the enemies seem to carry over from the previous day with their health, so it quickly becomes seemingly impossible to not kill them over time. And then the next enemy type is even easier to kill. So I had a lot of trouble not losing and having to restart everything.
I'd have liked to see some mechanic that lets you heal the enemies; just a way to manage the HP of these enemies more, since it currently feels a bit out of my control beyond just reducing damage through upgrades.
(Also, the hitbox for the bit seems a bit weird; sometimes I bump into the enemies without biting them, and other times it bites with the tail, or it just bites while they're still quite a bit away from me.)
A really nice idea! Loved playing as the dragon and theres an impressive sense of progression with upgrades for a game made in such little time. Only criticism is that the controls can feel slightly unwieldy and sometimes I felt at a loss for what was going on, but otherwise good job :)
