Cool game! The snake trail effect was really cool, sfx would've really boosted the game's fun and also the snake didn't collide with the tree but the apple did, the collisions weren't very snapping as it felt like I was slowed down when I came too close to the tree. Great job!

Intresting idea trying to live as an apple, I wish snake would lose if it moves into themself
Nice concept. I think its a cool idea to have the apples rot and to use that against the snake. It added a bit of extra challenge to try and distract the snake away from the gold apples as well. My piece of feedback is it seems very hard to get the snake to crash into themselves most of the time(as it should) but then sometimes the snake would go wonky picking apples and crash into itself. Not a huge issue just a bug i figured I should mention. Job well done, congratulations on completing the jam.
