Loved the music and polish of the game. The levels were smart and had a nice sense of challenge. Best I've played so far

This is an amazing entry!
I had a blast playing it, and the sounds were all amazing!

I really wish that the player would have popped out of the ground, and gone a little bit into the air from the ground, or been able to launch a little bit from walls. I do think that this would have meant that the puzzles would need to be slightly tweaked, but I also think that it would have felt *a little bit* better.

Goodluck in the jam! (Although I don't think that you'll need it! lol)

This should definitely win: every aspect is great, and it's probably the most unique but solid platforming experience I've had in a while

Oh man I'm trying hard not to get my hopes up!

Wow, this is actually an amazing game. I was invested until the very end. The mechanic really allows to play around with the level design. I really do hope that you continue with it.

The movement feels so nice! As an artist I really love how everything looks and moves!! One of the best games I've played this jam :D I would love to see more puzzles from this game!

I would really appreciate it if you checked out my team's submission too! It's a very short game that takes less than 5 minutes!

Of all the games I played this jam (I streamed playing games for about 6 hrs!) this is my favorite. The gameplay mechanic was so creative and fun and hit the nail on the head for the theme perfectly. To have created all this art, sfx, and music and have it come together so well in such a short amount of time is an amazing accomplishment. Gameplay balance was really well done and something super challenging for such a short jam. More than any of that I truly had fun, so thanks for making a game where I could have a good time even at the end of 4hrs of streaming. :D

That is a very clever take on movement. There is so much you could do with it. Great work!

It's a very original platformer! It's quite complicated to create original mechanics for platform games nowadays. The development of this game is very clever and works quite well.

I see a future for a game with more levels, new mechanics, different types of floors... it can be great!

Congratulations! A great job, a good rating from me!

a unique take to the theme! the core concept is pretty solid! and the levels are understandable! congrats!

Nice twist ! The platforming felt great :p, you managed to make good use of the core concept to make interesting levels :D This could totally be expended upon for a full game, which means the core idea is really strong !

This game is really cute! I love it. The gameplay is pretty inventive as well, making good use of its one core mechanic to build other ideas on top of. Very well made, and the presentation is fantastic!

Very clever and fun take on the theme! I really could see this traversing mechanic in a full release game.

this is really really good. fun core mechanic with a set of levels that explore how it can be used in different ways to create exciting challenges. this is some classic game jam stuff :)

i had a lot of fun and honestly am kind of hoping you get to expand this further later.

I had a few ideas for mechanics that I had to cut for time so I might, but no promises.

This game was absolutely lovely!

The introduction of the mechanic is incredibly well done and caught me off guard. The pixel art is great looking and the music fits perfectly.

Overall this is a wonderful submission, great work!

Thank you!

What a simple yet really fun and well utilized mechanic! It's very satisfying to control, and the art and sound design fit really well! My only minor complaint is there's a bit too much waiting with some of the moving blocks I think, especially at the start of that one level where you have to wait for the first platform to move every time you respawn. I'm just impatient though, the game was a blast to play regardless! :)

Good Bamboozle.

Nice! I love how you get fooled in the beginning and then you just figure it out! Great job  in two days.

What a lovely, well packaged experience. I think the relation to the theme is a little lacking. Would have been more fitting for the "breaking genre tropes" prompt. Without the "press space to jump" message (which isn't a "reversal" of roles, but rather playing with player expectations) the game is just a platformer with a cool movement mechanic. That said, it is a really fun and clever platformer that I enjoyed until the end.

Yeah, I struggled a bit for this theme.  I thought of a LOT of other ideas that were "clever" and fit the theme more cleanly but weren't fun.   Thank you for the kind words!
