How does your game fit the theme?
**To avoid the gameplay bug and fight the Game's Boss, hug the top of the screen after the asteroid swam (at the end of the first level) other wise LVL 1 will loop** A space shooter where you play as a coward running away from danger as opposed to flying into danger.

this so beyond solid in every aspect. lovely retro pixel art, unusual but fun control scheme, simple arcadey gameplay that kept me hooked until the end :) the biggest achievement imo is the boss fight, which you managed to make challenging enough without it feeling janky or unfair even in the slightest! took me a few tries and felt good when i did it!!
great jam game :)
I am very glad you liked it, I was worried people wouldn't get to the boss due to that big in the first level but seems like that isn't the case 😁
you found a good way to warn people about it and i think your description is clear enough on how to avoid it :)
thank you again, I was concerned that it would push others off from trying it but again is seem I was worried for nothing
Very nice and well polished, congrats!
Fun twist on the theme. Good going!
Great retro style, well done! For me the game was quite hard
Simple and extremely beautiful game at the same time, I enjoyed playing, the idea was very good
I like the aesthetic. I feel like some SFX are missing (like the boost for instance). Music is great.
Well done.
This is a great concept! I wish it were a bit longer, and leaned into the whole "running away" thing a bit sooner, but other than that it's an amazing entry.
Also very obviously influenced by The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which just makes it better!
Ha! I was wondering if anyone would get that reference! you are my hero.
The retro style is perfect! The game was very hard though.
Amazing game! Love the style, it has a very consistent aesthetic, nailed the GameBoy feel. Great job!
It is a gameboy game ;)
Really great game! The music is awesome and the art is perfect. Nice job :)
I like the visual style! And welcome to the GB Studio community!
I like the style.
Wow! Nice work! Very cool style!
Really nice game. It is so nice that you made the contrasting game environment with a very minimal color palette and low res pixel art style. Gameplay controls were just as much satisfying as the looks of the game. Good Job!
Amazing pixel art, really! Very unique game, very different from how I expected it! Good job :D
Love that retro vibe!
Some things that could make it even more enjoyable would be some indication that you need to press a button to skip a screen (i kept waiting in anticipation of some small animation or something, but it never came :P).
Also, personally i think it's very annoying that you die when you go out of the top of the screen, but that might just be me.
Overall, really cool game!
Really enjoyed this! Felt very uniqe and the well done 8-bit style make it truly feel like this could be mistaken as an old arcade classic! Well done :D
Absolutly love this game! One of my favourites this game jam :D I couldn't get past the first level, because I kept dying, but I had a lot of fun. The artstyle is amazing and I love the black and white visuals.
Interessting concept
Took me a few turn to get the hang of it - aways something different - top of the screen is death - moon is not decoration but death^^
why do people say they can't play it and there is some kind of bug, everything works stably
