The camera angles were confusing sometimes, and I couldn't really tell if I was moving because the golf ball was overexposed.

Pretty neat game, my only gripe with the game sometimes was the camera of the game. Overall nice work!

nice concept! I think one changes you could make is it probably reset the level once the player runs out of stamina but also cant finish the level.

Developer

We do actually! Once the stamina depletes and the ball velocity is under a certain threshold, the level resets. The threshold is probably too low, but we didn't want to accidentaly reset the level when someone would actually score the hole-in-one with what little velocity they have left. The level resetting system is certainly something we should work on more after the jam.

yup i mean maybe could increase the threshold for that or maybe you could accelerate the time so the player dont have to wait long!

Great idea! Reminds me of Chevy Chase's character in Caddy Shack. "Be the ball... Nanananananananana..." Also, good choice of music. It's definitely a lunch break kind of game. Good for playing on stressful days. GREAT JOB!

NOTE: The browser version kicked my CPU/GPU fans up to 4500rpm on my 2015 MacBook Pro (i7 Quad Core 2.5GHZ, w/ 16GB DDR3 at 1600MHz, AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB of GDDR5). Something about it was taxing the system.

I really liked the inertia mechanic. It gave a fun element of strategy to the game

this is actually a really cool idea that is worth exploring further. congrats!

i feel like if you make it so the player can only control the ball while it's moving would make it even more interesting and you could design some sick levels around that :)

Cool game! I like how you limited the influence the player had on the ball.

I like the name and the idea behind it. Maybe if you had to move the hole and avoid the chasing ball, the theme would shine more.

The camera is cheeks, but I liked the idea of the game.

I liked this! Reminds me of Super Monkey Ball and Mojo. The one critique I have is the camera after you get the hole in one, since it goes into the level geometry. Should be an easy enough fix, though!

Relaxing Game, but the camera is too close to the ball.

Submitted(+1)

Fun! I liked the relaxing vibes as I struggled to get my hole in ones.

Difficult game but I enjoyed it!

The energy bar makes the game challenging so you have to be pretty precise.

The camera control was a bit unresponsive or inaccurate which may lead to people leaving the game but I think that's the main issue, the rest of the game is fun!

Nice!

Nice concept with the golfball the initial hit is a bit intimidating and the camera does also play against the player^^ but 3d cameras are always hard.
it would be nice if you get a little stage complete screen instead of the ball just sitting in the hole with the camera wierding out. Maybe also show the swing and give the player a little time to see the level first.

Nice idea and execution, would have enjoyed it a lot more if I wasn't fighting the camera

Great job with your first 3d game!

I Like That Game... It Does Feel A Hard On Some Level Due To The Stamina Being So Low And Limited... In Between The First And The Second Level There Is A Huge Skill Curve.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, unfortunately we didn't have time for balancing the game. This is something we'd like to improve in the game after the jam ends.

I guess know I know, why I am so bad at golf. The ball does its own thing. :D But the game is very relaxing.

Loved the cozy feel. i would of 100% played more levels if they were available.
