The game was fun to play. Lacked a few more traps, and perhaps different kinds of goblins, like hob-goblins and the likes. Also, as stated in a previous comment, hotkeys for placing would be nice. Also for when wanting to place multiples, it'd be nice to not have to go into the shop each time. Also, rather than a shop, I wonder if it'd be more immersive if there were simply buttons at the bottom of the screen rather than having to open up a dialog.
The characters bobbing around was kinda hilarious. The game was however a wee. bit too dark (referring to the lighting here). Also I'm not sure if the goblins cowering in the corner until they get killed/ escaping the dungeon are a part of the game or a bug. However if it's part of the game, perhaps some speech-bubble of the goblin saying "screw this, I'm out" or similar to show that it's intended would make more sense to the player.
Also, music and some faint growls as well as just some sound effect for battles would add more immersion I think. And showing health-bars for goblins, damage indicators during battle and timers for the spike-traps I believe would also make it feel a bit less random.
This is a really solid design, I would love to see more traps and enemies. Great Job!
I quite like the aesthetics of the game, something about it's jank appeals to me. The gameplay is quite fun as well, main strat was spamming spike traps and using goblins to lead the players into them. It would be cool to see this expanded upon, great work!

I've made an impenetrable fortress with a growing goblin army and steady stream of passive income. A dungeon masters dream.
Really fun game. Hard to get the ball rolling and get strategy right. Once you do, its fun, comical and feel powerful. The balance could use some tweaking.
More enemies would be nice. Same with allies and traps.
Adding a hotkey for placing and buying trap/goblin would good too.
Overall, great game!
Same here, you can overlap the trap tiles - a bug or a feature?
Likely a bug. Enjoying as it a feature 😁
Good work but i think the art and sound part needed more efforts
Really fun, but the visuals and general presentation are a bit lacking. All this needs is a title screen and some killer audio and you have the start of something great.
2.5 D product. Interesting. But at some point my goblins escaped from the dungeon. Deserters!
Really cool 3D perspective.

We like the idea of combining the 2D and 3D art! The game was quite laggy for us though and we had trouble placing the purchased items.
Love the little goblin guy
I got to 4 knights, quite difficult
But I like the game idea I can see it being a great strategy defense game if you add more units and enemies as well as some balance. Making different levels would also be very fun!
But that's feedback for a long game. For this jam length you did a good job! I had a fun time playing :)
I really like the concept. Maybe a gameplay a little bit repetitive. But good job, this mix between 2d and 3d is very interesting and the rendering is really beautiful.
The mix of 2d and 3d give the game a nice distinct style! Agree with some of the other comments that a grid system would be nice, sometimes the knights avoided my spikes.
Strong dungeon keeper vibes. Plus the representation is amazing! :) Had a great time playing it.
I really like the concept! Like Zee said maybe grid snapping would make planning a little more rewarding, but other than that great work!
I think a grid and snapping could be a nice addition.
Good job.
Awesome idea! you should turn this into a full game, suprises me there are not more games with this idea! good job!
Not sure how you're supposed to get past the 3-knight stage, also the goblin unit is terrible
