Really cute game! Princess Apricot just wants her lovable idiot to rescue her (❁´◡`❁)

I agree with other commenters that the difficulty ramp between level 2 and 3 is too extreme, but I like the concepts here a lot! It's like a programming actions game where you get to adjust things on the fly as well, which is a nice little twist on the genre.

Our game struggled with difficulty curve as well, so you are not alone! Nice job overall!

Cute game. I feel like level 3 is a bit too far of a jump in complexity and I felt a bit overwhelmed with so many elements on the screen. The puzzles are good though. Good job!

This is neat! I like the mechanics and idea. I also feel like, starting with level 3, the high number of directional controls obscures what's interesting about each puzzle. If you took out the controls that weren't strictly necessary, I think it would be stronger.

Loved the game! It was a genuinely good challenge!! I loved the thought I had to put into each level. Level 4 was especially hard 😭 Some of the sfx could have been a bit more gentle to the ears, but overall you did an excellent job creating a fun and interesting game experience! Great job :)

Pretty cool puzzle game. My game bugged out at level 2 and keeps restarting like someone's previous comment. Some more easing into the mechanics would have been nice

Thanks for playing! And yes, the submission lags so it’s hard to tell why he died.

Spoiler

On level 2, if the door doesn’t reclose to trap the guard behind it. Dennis pauses to pick up the coin and gets caught.

Interesting idea, i like the mechanics!

Very nice puzzles. It really goes a long way having a few levels for presenting main mechanic.

I don't have anything major out of negatives, but lvl 4. felt like a bit of difficulty spike.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it

Love the concept and the look (especially the princess's expressions), but I kept running into an issue on Level 2 where I'd die even though I'd already hit the goal.

We’ll debug/explain mechanics better once the jam gets over. Thanks for checking it out.

i like how the levels become more complex and showcase some of the possible ways you can explore the main idea further instead of just repeating the same thing a few times. makes for a great puzzle game :)

Cool Puzzle game. I enjoyed solving the puzzles.

 Great Job :)

I made it to level 4.

Timing is sometimes a bit tight for a puzzle game. Would probably be a bit easier if all characters walked a bit slower.
