How does your game fit the theme?
The player controls the "bad guy" instead of the hero, plus the bad guy isnt actually bad hes just allowing the princess to stay at his castle while the "good" knights come trying to save her

The premise is adorable - I loved the little bushes so much and liked that it played on tropes. There are a few small improvements that could be made to make it more fun like a counter or timer for the combat section, as well as a cooldown indicator for the ranged attack. All in all I enjoyed it though!!
yes it definitely could use some more polish, attack telegraphing is a good idea. I think next time we might focus more on getting the gameplay down now that we have a better understanding of unity, & I agree in that user feedback is imperative on getting it right.
Thanks for the review & playing the game!
You better believe when I saw that watering can I was going to water those bushes right away! Very cute and funny premise for a game. I could see this being expanded into a hilarious rpg where you get to play from a lot of perspectives. I got to wave 8! Nice job!
Lmao, that's what you want to hear as a dev in level design.
That's a good idea actually to expand on the base game, we were thinking more along the lines of polishing up the combat & adding more chores at the start. But I agree I think it would then be cool to play as the orc for example & have a different gameplay loop to spice things up.
& wave 8 ain't bad hey. (I'm impressed you managed to count that high without losing track lol)
Thanks for the review & playing our game!
I really love the artwork! And the story just catched my interesting; I want to know how it would be go further
Good visual's and decent gameplay. I really love the music and the art style. The story is kinda clever. But the gameplay felt really bad. The melee attack's are extremely risky to use because the enemies attack too fast and the contact damage felt really unfair. I just spammed the long range attack and kept my distance. The game doesn't seem to have a score system or an ending. At least a score system would be nice but i can tell the combat section was rushed because of the sudden 4th wall breaking tutorial. Overall the game looks and sounds good but doesn't feel good to play. Good luck on your future project's!
Thanks for playing & the review! & we did plan on adding a score system but we ran out of time lol.
The idea with the combat was that you could attack the enemies with your melee attack just after thy attacked because they have a delay before they attack again; it is a little finicky though & we didn't have time to find tune it.
Thanks again 👍
Great game overall! I liked the music and art, and the story would be very good if it had a bit more content to it. The combat was unexpectedly really fun and engaging, although a bit too hard(I couldn't finish the whole thing). The only bad thing is the size of the screen in the webgl player, so it was hard to get the full experience.
Great job!
Thanks a lot for playing!!! The size of the webgl player in the browser I think was a problem from when we first built it in unity (some of our other team members did the finishing touches); if you scroll out in your browser I found it fixed the issue. & yes the combat has infinite waves. I think...
Thanks for the review 👍
