I really like the art of your game and it is a very creative and interesting approach of interacting with the game world. The game is pretty cool!! :) And you are absolutely right, our games are Brothers :P

This game had a really unique art direction, it could really go somewhere with some fine tuning to the controls and level design. It was hard getting too immersed in it because the story and motivations were not clear. Had to run past the large enemy because they wouldn't die no matter how much I jumped on them.

A nice and enjoyable game made from a motivation and inspiration. One of the most creative and clever games that I have seen. Furthermore the mechanics of scaling the shadow is also polished.

Best of luck :D

It will be a pleasure if you play and rate my game as well:)

Was this inspired by Wayang Indonesian shadow puppetry? If so, that's a super cool basis for a shadow puppetry game!

Around level 6/7, I got stuck because I couldn't shrink down enough to fit under a block. Is there a way past this, or am I missing something?

Thanks for reply!

Yes, we took inspiration from shadow puppetries from different cultures.
Hm, I thought we've ensured the game is beatable, but there are may still be bugs.  Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to polish mechanics, no wonder you got stuck

Thanks for playing!

Oh wow I wasn't expecting it but the style was top notch. Some gameplay was clunky but I feel like with more time this could become a solid game that I could see myself picking up on steam.

Developer

Wow, that's inspiring, thank you!

Great art the style was cool and good (:

Really clever with a brilliant aesthetic, albeit the box mechanic was really quite clunky.

Maybe it happened later in the game, but it would've been really quite cool to have lights in the stage that would move the shadow in relation to you

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, we thought about using more realistic lighting, but chose not to risk and go an easier path

The controls for grabbing a box is clunky as it should be just a single key, and lack of spatial awareness in both foreground and background started getting confusing when you gain height. Other than that, interesting style and take on theme.

Interesting game, the background music and art is very good. Amazing job getting this done in 48 hours!!

I really liked the art. Just one little issue is that the grabbing blocks is kinda buggy for me. Sometimes I can't move and get stuck.

Developer

the block doesn't move left and right. It moves up and down.

Now try doing this.

Ahh I see. Clever one. I really enjoyed it! Keep up the good work!

Developer
