Pretty simple but fun! I was surprised sometimes to not get softlocked, great level design.
I had a lot of fun with this one! I like how you introduced each mechanic with great use of the scaling too. The only thing I felt like it needed was a few more sounds like some subtle congratulatory tones when you collect an orb or win.
Awesome job though!
Great game ! It was really enjoyable ! I would like a star system so that we can get like 3 stars if we get the level done under x movements, 2 under y and so, that would be quite interesting ! Keep up the good work :)
The first levels really impressed me with their ability to be designed without soft-locking yourself, however, this amazement and faith in the design caused me to get wreckless... and I did end up soft-locking myself haha. A cute and difficult puzzler either way!
As a fellow level designer, I'll ping up the soft-lock I ran into incase you want to do a diagnosis! I think my flaw playing it was that I simply "removed the obstical" that was the far left piston and upon realising I needed it to reach the exit, and then broke everything trying to reach it again. Not even sure how I would fix this without re-working the entire puzzle as the pistons that need adjustment are already used as diffrent funtions unless you add puzzle peices speific to fixing this issue, which I imagine would count as cheating by the internal design book.!
I've played a lot of games like this, where you keep moving until you hit a wall. But the scaling mechanic and the pistons add so much more depth to the puzzles. You had some very cleaver ideas! I was able to beat around half of the levels. Maybe it could be nice to be able to skip the levels if you are stuck, because I'm curious to see what the last few levels look like!
Challenging puzzler, with a really well implemented scaling mechanic that's core to the experience - love it! Some really clever stages in here :)
The music wasn't looping for me, but otherwise this played really well!
Pretty cool game, the puzzles were fun and inventive. I played it with my gf and we both really like them (she helped me solving a few)
I really miss having something to show you in which level you are, like in the level or in between, the music didn’t work for me but it did in a new game.
Overall good game!
This reminds me of the ice floor puzzles in Pokemon: Gold/Silver/Crystal/HeartGold/SoulSilver, except this one is a lot trickier. Great job on this game!
That was a lot of fun! Definitely felt the portal vibes in the game's style :)
Ice cave from pokemon puzzles always break my brain but I had a good time with this one! Well done!
Good puzzles! That’s pretty hard to accomplish, but I liked them
I was promised puzzles that made me actually think, so I was curious. Played up until level 9 before needing to take a break. All in all, pretty neat entry and nice twists on the ice sliding puzzle genre! I think the puzzle design could be a little better though. In some of the earlier levels, I did not need to use all the pistons available, which felt odd. But my main gripe is that a decent amount of time I spent thinking "oh no, I forgot to do that thing while I was down there, now I have to set up again using a sequence of 10 moves" which got a little repetitive after a while. Having undo would help a lot here. Also, I felt some elements were added to the puzzles to make them harder instead of more interesting, which after playing and designing a good number of puzzles myself is something I don't like very much anymore. Still, you definitely got a good grasp of how to design interesting puzzles, so I'd like to see that developed a further!
