I’ll echo that the controls felt unintuitive. I did however like the effect of the magnification/minification I thought that was a nice touch. I could see the magnifying glass being used to change the size of something other than the player being a sort of mechanic that is possible with the current setup.
Nice concept, but it's fiddly having to left click then right click back and forth. A good start though!
I'll agree with the comments that say let's just use right-click for grow and left for shrink, rather than flipping the glass, but I really enjoyed the mechanic and the way you implemented. Well done, the puzzles were easy to understand and the overall feel felt very together. Thanks! :D
So many clever choices with this one! It's pretty fun and well done :^D
The game is short, but filled with ideas! I liked how the game play with its secrets, and reveal a new side of its mechanic at each turn. The controls are not always ergonomic, often I'd use right click thinking it would allow me to grow/shrink, only to remember that I actually have to select it then use left click. But given the scope of the game, it's not too dramatic.
Cute, simple platformer! Level design was simple, but decent. The twist in the end was weird and fun. I feel like the controls for the magnifying glass weren't the most intuitive, and I would have probably preferred pure keyboard controls since the mouse position didn't really matter, but they worked well enough. Overall, a cute little start, well done!
Great mechanic/concept and had a lot of fun with it
Nice mechanic of shrinking and growing. the controls could be a little bit better.
Cute game, I liked the core mechanic of growing and shrinking to explore the world. I did not like the controls for the magnification. I would rather have a button to grow and a button to shrink.
Okay that was a really cool core mechanic. The idea of having the player zoom in or out to change their size relative to the world is really nifty and worked well. My favorite part was breaking the blocks to go through the roof! I genuinely wish I had thought to do that in my game.
My feedback:
I think that perhaps the magnification mechanic could be a bit more streamlined. In sections where multiple magnifications are required it can get a lil repetitive having to click multiple times. Maybe you could have the player pull up the magnifying glass and use the middle mouse button to zoom in or out.
Regardless, nice work! I liked the ending a lot haha.
The core mecanic is really cool and unique :) nice
Nice art and smooth gameplay. Well done!
I really like the game, a little bit too short, but nice concept
Neat concept!
