This was extremely well done. I'd like to see more. I think if instead of having one random player come at a time, you could decide if you're selling or buying, but there's a lot of room for a full game here! Loved the slow burn on learning what materials make what combinations. Great submission yall!

Well done. Loved the twist, loved the characterizations. With some more options to escape and maybe some attacks, this could be a pretty engaging game for a long session! Great audio too, loved the tune.

Wonderful submission! The presentation is top notch, love the whole retro area vibe. This could be developed into a game. I wanted Ruby to have some more escape options, and maybe more feedback from the heros when they detect her, but I like where it was going. Difficult but not impossible, start slow and ramp up the challenges, and you've got yourself a full game :D

Nice execution of the concept - I think the biggest hurdle is how to deal with AI turrets, and your solution was pretty elegant, make them miss randomly. I think the one thing it really needs is more player decisions, but that's def a tricky design question. Oh, and throw your musician kudos, that was a sweet track!

This was our team's basic concept, but I like the way you simplified the implementation for the jam. It may work to give values to the monsters and weapons, so you can 'buy' powerups by 'spending' monsters, so the player doesn't do what I did and kill off the hero right away by guessing wrong :) The interface reminds me of old school Ultima in a good way. Thanks!

I have to agree with the commenters - this is some fantastic artwork. The controls were also really well done for WASD/mouse on a 2D plane. I wasn't sure that the rolling did much for me, but the visuals and action made it so it really didn't matter - nicely put together!

Nice look and feel. The controls were pretty intuitive. I think I found a bug where interiors didn't render properly, and it crashed when the UFO snagged me. But, I enjoyed the characterization and setting :)

Interesting mechanic! I would agree with the comments that recommend a little help to the player when they're stuck, maybe slow down the screen movement a bit, but great outing!

'Mood' is something that is underrated in games, but yours has it in droves. That little guy is just SO EXCITED to jump around to that boppin beat :D

Fantastic. Very clever usage of randomization with control, could play this puzzle game a long time and not get bored. Well done. Certainly there's ways to expand on the core mechanic. Awesome work :D

Totally fun! Took a bit to figure out the controls, but it makes sense quickly. Sounds and music were great. Glad that the ship didn't blow up after too many bounces. Inventive dice roll mechanic, haven't seen anything else like it.

Made it to round 17. Got the hang of it, simple but fun - nice chill atmosphere too, visuals and sounds really fit the design :)

Thanks for playing! You're correct that I was just running out of time writing up the cards, and if I had developed it further, splitting them out by age would have been a thing. You are kinda hitting on the point though, that the unclear results were part of the game - someone once said, life is like a box of chocolates. And then he jumped off a boat, I think.

Great use of the dice mechanic. If you had more time, a clickable UI element for the different choices would have been awesome. I really enjoyed the chainsaw :D

You've got it! Age is the highest factor the older you are, the more likely you are to die, but the other four stats  do all have an equal impact alongside your age so if you want to make it to the win condition (living longer than the other people), your best chance is to make all those things high as you can.
