How does your game fit the theme?
The gameplay is built around a mech that can change size, with each size having a different advantage. The mech shrinks down to fit inside the enemy mech for platforming levels.

Awesome style! what a feat for only 96 hours. Congrats to the team :)
Pretty cool!
Damn this UI is good, but I thought gameplay was a bit on the metroid-like side. I think that with a bit more time this game could actually become really fun to play.
Anyways good luck on your next Jams!
DAMN THATS A CLEAN UI! Also nice to see an Unreal game, I really appreciate it as an Ex-Unreal dev. I think it's pretty clear though the game still needs more polish (outside ui). The 3d models are pretty good, but the animations fall off a bit. The game felt a bit weird at the beginning but once i got the hang of it and I could play some of the working levels it actually felt nice to play. I really like the mid jump transform sequences, too bad the boss doesn't work though. I actually like this and it works really god as a concept, the art is also cute and the characters are cool! Just needs time to cook and I reckon it has a lot of potential! The small details in a lot of the UI is insane though, you've got a lot of talent with that
Very polished game, I love the UI.
Also the take on scaling down to damage the robot is really creative
Good job!
I really liked the game and its concept very much. It kinda reminded me of Mega Man / Metroid, the only problem that I found is that it kinda lagged for me but still I enjoyed playing it. Well Done!
pretty cool megaman like side scrolling game!
Great overall feel and loved the platforming levels with swapping sizes mid-air. Shame the boss is bugged reading your other comment about it.
The music and UI/Effects/style of the game was awesome! I couldn't quite figure out how to beat the boss but it was really cool overall! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Unfortunately because of some problems with version control, the boss fight didn't make it to the final game in it's entirety. Happy to hear that you had fun nonetheless!
one of the composers here, thank you very much!!
Loved the style of the menus and the 2d art! Wish there was more feed back in the large form for when you can break through barriers. Maybe having the big form run with its shoulder out in front. I love how all the sizes had their own unique movement abilities! I'd love to see more platforming levels because they were really fun. I never got the boss to go into its downed state, idk if it was me being impatient or I was doing something wrong.
Hey Moffet! Thanks so much for the great feedback! The boss is bugged unfortunately, but my plan is to fix up this project after a break!
Super cool UI. Reminds me of like a street fighter game. Also the dystopian/city art style is done very well.
The style here is excellent. I love the faces of the pilots in the corner of the screen. My biggest issue is that it seemed like the boss never fell down, and I wasn't sure what to do there. Additionally, I accidentally entered a platforming level before doing the "tutorial" before the boss, and it was really unclear what to do. Once I did the tutorial, it was pretty clear, but you might want to put the tutorial in the platforming section.
Hey Graying Games, thanks for the great feedback! Unfortunately the boss is bugged and the triggers for the platformer levels was a temporary band aid so we could show off more of the game. However after a break I am planning to fix polish this up!
The game UI is super cool !!!!! (especially the main menu and the color theme <3)
The only problem is I can't find a way to defeat the boss :((
I'm glad you liked it! Unfortunately some of the boss files got lost in the version control, and we didn't realise until it was to late, we're planning on making a post jam update that will fix that, but I'm really happy to hear you overally liked the game
the UI was super stylish, and the boss looked cool, though i think it was partially non functional. i would've liked to make more interesting decisions. for each given situation there's an obvious and usually easy solution, so it didn't feel particularly engaging, but i think there's potential with some creative level design and maybe a bit more that makes the powers more general purpose instead of just an always-accessible key to the door of certain scenarios. but you guys did a great job, and i'm especially impressed because it's Unreal, an engine i find quite challenging for indie projects despite having used it extensively professionally!
The 2d art looks great and i like the movement. The only thing that I dont like that much is the lighting but thats up to preference
Believe it or not, I was watching a clip on YouTube today—“Avengers meeting for the first time”—and then it cut to the fight between Ant-Man and Spider-Man in Civil War. Playing your game gave me that same feeling of being Ant-Man, especially with how it lets you change size. It’s the first time I’ve ever felt that way in a game, and that’s definitely something worth praising. By the way, I also loved the game’s intro.
Amazing game. Hats off to whoever made the art and UI they look AAA level. The controls were hard and the player speed made platforming really hard for me. I got stuck in all the levels lol. But overall great game, I loved it.
Really cool game, loved the art style, good job!
really great game, unfortunately it crashed part way through because i'm playing on a laptop
