I like the simplicity of one currency for everything. It feels complicated deciding what to do and managing it, but not overwhelming which is nice in a game jam. Super juicy, no bugs that I encountered, and the music reminded me of Undertale which is always welcome!

pretty neat! hope you expand on it!

The game is nice, love the juiciness

Concept is simple but I can't think about a game with something like that

It makes me think a bit about space invaders, even though it isn't

The music is really nice

Using a custom font is a good idea

At first, the graphics looked a bit flat, but when you play, it actually becomes unvisible because the juiciness is really there and the simple colors actually help focusing on the enemies and objects

nice simple game, and also very enjoyable, i was always spending on upgrades i totally forgot about feeding the Core XD

A simple premise but pretty well executed, the simple graphics lend well to the core gameplay. After core level 3 I found it almost impossible to keep up with the drain rate, but that might be just be due to the upgrades I chose. A bit more enemy variation would've been cool along with having more time during the "fighting enemies phase". 3.6/5

Fun little move and shoot game! I really liked how the progression options helped shape my strategy. The different enemy types also helped punch up the experience too. Good stuff!

I probably ran into a bug the first time I started it because the core wasn't shrinking at all, but after I reloaded the game it worked. However the game is fun and has a really interesting concept! Good job! :)

Simple, but fun!

It feels great to shoot! I can really tell the game is well polished!

The game is pretty fun! Somehow, I didn't encounter any bugs, which is amazing! Its pretty simple, yet it wasn't all that easy. Once you get used to the dash though, it becomes kinda simple. Good game!

It's fun! I would only replace the cursor with a scope.

i told you this in discord too

really well done to add some life to simple shapes, the particles and vfx make killing enemies quite satisfying

juggling between upgrades and feeding the core is an interesting tension point that keeps the player alert

my main critique is that the theme connection is a bit weak but at least you gave it a shot to interpret it in a different direction (we struggled a lot and settled on a generic “climbing” interpretation)

I'm always amazing how poeple can make games with simple shapes that amazing !

As mentionned, the only thing is that if I take tyoo muc hextra bullets, I get lost between them and me ^^

Anyway, I had great time !

Great job !

Ah, had a great time with the game. My only feedback is to change the bullets art to not be the same as the player/enemies. Great entry, spent sometime playing it. :D

I loved this game - spent way too long on it haha!

Great concept! Would be cool to see how could you expend the idea after the jam.

Simple, but also very fun!
