Nice cute! I got 25 capybaras in 15 meters. Great music and visuals. One thing is that the gameplay feels a little slow, I think either the character should move faster or the obstacles get harder to dodge more quickly, maybe some obstacles requiring low jumps by just tapping the jump button. Aside from those small things, great game!

really cute and original graphics. too bad sometimes two shits happen very closely and you can't win, also you have to wait too much before trying again after you lose. also hitting a shit or a cactus should make you lose just a capybara maybe? instead of immediately losing the game? i dunno. by the way capybara is a nice big rodent but not very much unstoppable, i found it to be pretty stoppable. nice work
I really like the style, it's cute and simple. The issue is with the controls - sometimes I would press the jump button after landing, but it felt like there was a 1-second delay. Also, once your stack is tall enough to reach offscreen you can pretty much end the game.
Thanks for your feedback! :)
Yeah, the delay comes from the game waiting for the animation to end which happens when both wheels of the skateboard are on the ground. In hindsight this is not clear to the player and I understand the frustration with the delay. A fix is already implemented with an input buffer which I will upload once the jam is over. There are things hidden in the sky you can see when the games over :p
Biggest gripe I have is that this game needs an input buffer. I think that the time it feels like you've landed and the time you've actually landed are two different things and it means that it feels like you're jumps are getting eaten sometimes when having to make consecutive jumps across obstacles or getting fruit between obstacles. Anyways cute coconut doggies.
The Difficulty Spike is weird, sometimes there is no way to survive as there isn't much space.
At the start you are able to restart the game without out even starting it(Small bug but fixable with an if statement)
Overall the music and SFX is really great and the Endless system works well. The Art also suits the Main idea so that's great . Idea is neat with some more core mechanics and a slightly better gameplay loop will help IMO. A really decent game for a first Game Jam
Super addictive, I managed to get up to 33! It's super polished, I love the staggered little flip going up the tower of capys. Great job!
Got 34 capybaras, but still didn't get to see what's far up in the clouds...
Fun game!
Capy moring, capy midnight, capy late night, capy all day, all night capy, just capy
Fun, silly little game. Loved the art, super cute and simple but that made it amazing. Very well done, and complete experience.
What a lovely main character ahaha. Love the art and very fun gameplay. Congrats!
Stacking capibaras on a skateboard was not something I expected to ever experience, but I sure am glad I did :D Great job!
Great art!
Gameplay is super simple but works well.
The minimum distance between obstacles could be a little bigger because landing delays the next jump quite a bit.
Love the chill capybara vibes.
Great job!
Haha, this is awesome. The art looks super cute, especially the capybara. This is what the internet dino game should be. I also really like the fact that you get more capybaras over time. I can't really tell if it changes the gameplay, but even if it doesn't, it's funny and silly nonetheless, and I am all here for it! I also love the fact that you plan on releasing this on mobile.
Good job!
It looks really hard, but hitboxes are smaller than you would expect. Don't be fooled, it's easy, fun, and very silly :)
Great artstyle, the fruits are sometimes impossible to grab tho
Thank you! Impossible fruits were not intentional when I implemented them but after a while, I thought it could lead to a decision-making situation where greed would kill the player, so I left them like this to make the game a tiny bit more interesting. I understand that it's probably a bit annoying to just let some fruits fly away :D
