Charming little puzzle platformer! I like the idea of scaling the entire world. One little nitpick I had was that the camera or movement seems jittery when your running and scaling at the same time.
Yeah the way I implemented the physics meant the position had to be updated in the physics loop rather than the render loop, so it appears jittery
Cool Idea, enjoyed playing it and making the boxes bigger and smaller, I even got a box to go home to it's mother planet!! Still cool game though, I wish i could of played more!!
Streamed today!!
Really nice idea! Although it's very buggy, when I scale the level, sometimes I get pushed into the wall
This really needs to be seen by more players! Art and sound really good if you run the game to see it and hear it!
The idea to scale the world is so well executed. I wouldnt dare try this even if I would think of it!
Thanks for making this game!
Great game ! However a bit annoying to keep spamming the same letter, i think that the rescale is going too slow, but you have a good concept and gameplay ! Level 4 was the best ! Keep up the good work :)
Were you tapping the keys or holding them down?
tapping, i didn't try to hold them tbh
Ah yeah you're meant to hold them
Great game and concept. It was hard to tell if I was holding the box or not and the physics when holding it was a bit wonky, but the puzzles and platforming were well done.
at first I didn't realize you could scale the box specifically while holding it. I really like the switching back and 4th in the final level the best
Loved the concept of rescaling all your surroundings. Well done!
This game is really neat! I liked how much you could manipulate the boxes and it was cool just how much the game let you scale up/down. If I had any constructive feedback, its definitely a bit buggy when you're scaling (but hey, game jam games be like that sometimes) and I think the throwing the box mechanic could be tutorialized a bit better- I spent a while trying to grow the box and use it as a platform at the same time in level 3 just because I wasn't aware you could throw super far like that. Still, this game is really cool and had some really excellent puzzle design, great work!
Fun game, I liked it! Nice entry :)
Very fun mechanic and (spoilers ahead) i loved when it dawned upon me that i needed to throw the box in level 3. Also the music was so calming. Wish there was more, great work
I managed to glitch through the door in the first level by resizing the block to push me through it, instead of holding the button down with the block. Not sure if this is intentional.
Nice idea! I wasn't able to beat the level where you have to (or so I assume) throw the cube up (?)
That's okay though, I tend not to be the sharpest tool in the shed.
Keep making games!
very awesome game even tho i have skill issue with the third level. and everytime i die it sounds like an anvil fell on top of me which is kinda hilarious lol
Loved this little game! game feels great, I would just like to see the 'holding' objects mechanic a little less floaty, like I mentioned on your page. It also took me a moment to figure out the button weight stuff, but it seems easy enough to fix with a prompt of some kind. great work!
Really reminds me of Superliminal! The box changing weight was something I should have thought about, but is definitely interesting!
Seems to be a common theme among players, I thought it would be a bit more obvious. I should have explained that in game!
