I honestly think this is my favorite submission of this year

Such charm! Came for the polter-cake, stayed for the gameplay (and delightful possession graphics). Pretty clever overall, although I do wish there were more checkpoints because making your way back to some later obstacles could be something of a pain. Great work getting this made though!

I like the logo and the art in general. I appreciate it having a tutorial. I had some issues with the scaling mechanic (it was a bit buggy at times) for example with the shovel at the start, if I kept the scaling up it would pass through the platform. Apart from that, I liked how you played with the mechanic (rolling down as a small skull for example) and the scaling up and down faces haha

I really enjoyed the graphic style of the game, the protagonist is very well done. Nice game.

Hahahaha the character design and name is ICONIC! Love the theming and mechanics

This is a super clickbait ghost) Interesting puzzles. The only thing is that it would be possible to speed up the hints at the beginning, otherwise you need to stand next to the shovel for a long time until you find out that you can possess objects

Very funny game! I liked the art style as well!

Fun game! A bit frustrating to have to start over on death but clever puzzles

I love how everything has cheeks

So, we both made a puzzle platformer where you scale objects, with a Halloween theme, in Godot... uhhh yeah. Brilliant take on the theme, and it is particularly amusing how the objects you possess all get a little bum on them. Cool stuff!

I very much enjoyed playing through Boo & Bat and how the mechanics are different enough between these two games to still feel really fresh! Loved the art y'all made for the jam and the cool puzzles.

Thanks!

like the ghost design

hmmmmmmmmmmm

I definitely like the concept and I think it would be fun if it were expanded upon, but I don't like having to restart the entire level every time I mess up the puzzle. I know that makes me a huge hypocrite because of the type of game I made, but it definitely feels worse to restart in a puzzle game to me since I'm just replaying the same level that I already know how to beat. Pits should probably spawn you in the last place you were grounded though.

The style was the best part about the game to me. Keep it up for sure.

Agreed. We discussed the need for a checkpoint system but we ended up not prioritizing it before the end of the jam. Thank you for the feedback!

Cheek-a-boo is the perfect title lol

Love the range of mechanics you were able to get out of scaling - increasing object size to help reach places, affect scales, rolling small objects - it kept gameplay fun and varied :)

really fun to try and speedrun, some parts are pretty hard!

Loved how challenging this was! Brought me back to speedrun it even if I finished it already XD

The games gorgeous, I love the art and the actual gameplay loop is one of the better I have seen. Really good job!

Would be very grateful if you tried our game!

The possession mechanic and the puzzles set up around it is cool!
