Nice tower defense game, it felt a bit too slow at the start, from the coin gain to the wave speed, but you get used to it, although the archers and red guys were always more useful than upgrading unfortunately. But it was very fun, the musical sound effects were a nice touch, wished I knew a little bit more about music so I could have understood the reference, great game!

In Cacofonia, the player builds a tower where each level represents a musical note in the C Major scale. Tower levels spawn units whose attack sounds correspond to their given note. Therefore, the tower is literally built to the tune of the C Major scale.

That was really fun! It's like a full game rather than a jam game! Visuals, sounds, interpretation of the theme, learning curve everyhing was in place. I really liked it! I couldn't finish the game fully yet but I will definitely try again after playing some more jam games. Well done!
Very creative interpretation of the theme. The mechanic side is also interesting, minions that come back returning your gold is very smart and renders good moments of decision making. Nice game!

Cute animations and art style, and super duper relaxing sound design. A unique, literal take on the theme that I love! I accidentally bought a tower upgrade a couple times when I meant to buy a new unit, maybe a better way to purchase would be more user friendly? Other than that it's a super cool idea, and really well made for the time we had!
Made it to wave 7, those big guys are hard to deal with!
This was very nice. I liked how seamless the mechanics fit together and how immediately intuitive the controls were. I didn't need a tutorial or anything I just... started playing!
Cool idea! I do sort of wish that you could upgrade the tower in-between rounds and that you could direct the guys to fight a specific enemy, it's kind of frustrating when you've got one bashing your tower and they're all fighting other things.
Same colored units are super effective but they also have different stats! green for example has higher speed and figher rate but lower health. If you put them in a pack they are very powerful. Yellow also has a bow so it gets a longer range, meaning you need less of them on the map since they are less likely to die quickly.
Really fun and well presented tower defense, the music and the sound effects are top notch and very satisfying once you get a few different units going at once!
The different units and animations and sounds were all so so lovely! Especially the reference to a musical scale is an insanely creative take on the theme that I hadn't seen until now.
It was a bit opaque how I acquired new funds and what the differently-colored health bars meant, but apart from that, the game felt lovely and polished. Also, the quit button being "im 2 scared" and just the language of this entire package was funny and adorable :3

Beautiful and simple, I loved it! Well done. Although i perceive like the music is more the core of the game that the actual Scale Theme, but it doesn't matter in the end.
This game is addicting! Had a lot of fun defending my tower, but the little green guy is too weak compared to yellow and red.
