Fun idea! I especially liked the chill music. I think mapping both the dice roll and the cut to the same mouse button made for some awkward moments (rolling when I wanted to cut, for example) but overall I had a good time with it.
Thanks!
I know what you mean - originally I had the right-mouse button as a roll, but I made a last minute change when I noticed how hard it was to play on my trackpad!
(deleted the double post - although it’s nice to see praise twice in a row :D)
A lot of fun. Could play this for hours. Great job!

Thanks :D Glad you had fun with it!
Really like the concept!
Thanks :D
The game has a good concept but it's kinda hard to precisely cut which is kinda problematic, besides that great work !
Thanks :)
Yeah- getting the slice mechanic to work was harder than I’d hoped and it definitely still had some bugs by submission time. Glad you enjoyed it anyway!
Awesome concept with great visuals. Slicing the dice was a satisfying mechanic. I felt it was difficult to get it to register when I got the right numbers, though I'm not sure if that's the game or me not quite understanding the rules!
Thanks :)
Something I don’t think I really explained well was that the dots are matched to the numbers left-to-right at any point in time; something which can be a bit dependant on the physics if you slice totally horizontally.
The game is really hard but I do think that its a cool concept. My main suggestion is to make the go straight up and down so that just waiting can't accidently cause you to be unable to win.
Ah yeah- I see what you mean. I mostly put the angle in for a bit of variety :D
Really awesome. Insanely difficult at times (got a 11 and right after that some crazy 421132 or something), but so fun to get lost in.
Thanks :)
I did initially want to make a difficulty ramp, but- you know- time!
Something I definitely should have made clear, though, is that there is no penalty to just not making an attempt; so you can pick your battles :)
This game is hard to pick up but it has potential.
Thanks :)
I think the game idea was really cool!
It felt a little stressful though which I didn't like so much..
I also felt like it was a bit buggy? I guess you would need the dice to have the right order (left to right) to be able to match up, but that sometimes meant that cutting something horizontally meant you got inconsistent results. I'm not sure if that was what actually happened but I felt like my results sometimes weren't correct.
Again though, super creative idea and I think one of the more unique ones that were submitted!
Thanks - hope I didn’t stress you out too much!
Yeah- the numbers are checked left-to-right, so if you go horizontal it’s up to the physics whether the top or bottom is matched first.
I really love the genius concept. I'm surprised how many great ideas i still find here. Only adding to it is the relaxing music.
Thanks :) I’m glad you liked it.
I think this is the best game in my queue. really unique concept combining some quick intuition, resource management, and fruit ninja tech. maybe more polished slicing? but that's it. add in some original music and I think you have a successor to threes
Wow- thanks :D I’m glad you had fun with it!
Yeah- the slice detection is a bit twitchy; definitely something that I’d want to improve with a bit more time.
I do like the overall concept, however I'm not sure if it's buggy or I don't understand the game. I had a lot of solution that didn't seem solvable. For example: being given a a single number 2 dice block and having to make "51".
Edit: It looks like it was the later.
hey there - as it says in the tutorial you can click each die to increase its value. as such, that number 2 dice block can be clicked 4 times to make a 6, then sliced at the corner to make a 5 and a 1.
Thanks, I guess I've been spoiled by overly hand-holdy tutorials and my pea brain can't comprehend more than a sentence at a time.
Thanks :)
Glad you liked it (and found out what was up in the end!).
I did mean to integrate the tutorial and gradually add in all the mechanics (I’m definitely guilty of not reading walls of text too!) but ran out of time!
The idea is great, but playing it is a bit difficult. But I like the implementation and it goes well with the topic!
Thanks :)
I did mean to get a difficulty curve in (instead of just random) but 48 hours is never long enough!
Coll Idea and good execution! It was a bit unclear to me when the game will end. Do you have lives? Or a specific timer? The gameplay was quite fun and unique tho. :)
Thanks- glad you had fun :D
Holding down the space bar slows time but depletes your power (bar along the bottom), and the game ends when you’ve run out of power. Given that it’s pretty hard to get a high score without slowing time, inevitably it gets depleted.
Definitely could have made the instructions clearer- always the last thing to get round to on a jam!
Loved the presentation but the slicing usually didn't register properly, making it pretty frustrating to play.
Thanks- yeah- I was relying on Unity’s native mouse detection for the slicing, which can be a bit twitchy if you’re quick with the mouse. I ran out of time before I had a chance to implement something a bit more stable.
Cool idea! Seemed like bisecting dice twice didn't register correctly but when it worked it was fun!
Thanks :D
Yeah- the slice detection can be a bit twitchy. Glad you had fun though!
Very nice and cute little game :) Quite enjoyed it! Reminds me of some classic flash games. Dice didn’t seem to always register how they were divided, but so it goes.
Thanks - glad you had fun!
Yeah- the slice detection isn’t as good as I wanted it; hopefully it didn’t cheat you out of too much.
Wow, incredibly creative and fun! But pretty difficult
Thanks :D Glad you had fun, despite the difficulty!
A little bit confusing at first, but figured it out. Nice idea and love the animation when you slice the dice!
Thanks - glad you figured it out :)
I initially meant to have it slowly introduce the mechanics with increasing difficulty; but I only ended up with time to have each be randomly generated!
Found it very confusing, didn't understand the mechanism at all.
Fair enough - there’s a video now of the game in play - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVLnf_MNmIw - which might shed some light if you do come back to it.
I’d love to know what bits weren’t explained well enough :)
