Wow this is addicting! So much mechanical depth and strategic decision making. Thanks for swinging by the stream to share this!

Really fun gameplay! The skill sets of different candies are well-designed which leads to different combos. I really like the idea of "on sell" of the candy too, though I feel sorry for bringing them out to block the damage and then just sell it in the next turn haha.
The gameplay is solid, I enjoy playing it a lot.

Really cool turn based strategy game! I took a little to figure it out, but really enjoyed playing it. A lot there for a 48 hour jam. Great work!

Cool game! I like how you're able to change the odds of the dice, which eliminates the frustrating part of rng. The strategy involved is really deep and the art and interface are great. Overall, nice work!

This one takes some time to get into, but I am very definitely into it. After a few attempts, I could see some strategies start to form and the game felt deeper than on my first impression. Balancing how much I spend and which units I pick was a fun set of problems to solve! Also, allowing us to edit the faces of the die was an inspired choice. Cool stuff!

As the others, a bit confusing at first, but you just have to focus a bit and you understand what is happening.

I'll surely try to find an infinite setup of your game, I really appreciated playing it! The strategy that you think about during the game and want to try, one of the best feeling imo!

Congrats!

It was a bit confusing at first, but after some trial and error, I was able to have fun! It's deceptively simple, but there is a lot of strategy (and luck) involved in choosing your candy. Would be very interested in playing a fully fleshed out version of this game, congrats on finishing the jam !

i was hesitant to give this game a proper try because i don't like figuring out game mechanics without a tutorial, but i'm so glad i did
i played this game quite a bit longer than expected, it was really fun
the art is nice, but there is a problem, your sprites don't have consistent pixel size.
this is negligible in high res games, but in pixelart it's a problem
the music was quite lacking but for me it's better than nothing, i can't stand silent media lol
same thing goes for the sound effects, they were not amazing, but i'm so glad they're there
very cool game mechanic, interesting spin on the whole "the die decides your damage" idea
definitely a submission to be proud of
great work!

I liked the art style a bunch, your ui is also very polished and the game feels good to play, interesting spin on the idea with the dice being customizable, very nice game!

This game is incredibly cute and feels very polished! It's really cool that it relies on chance so much while still giving the player a lot to strategize.
