yeah, i thought about the camera problem quite alot when i was making the game, having  a stable camera showing the whole level would have felt alot less lively and responsive, and having a free camera meant id have to change movement based on the location you're looking, and getting that wrong specially in a puzzle would be really infuriating, so i stuck to my main idea of having the camera follow you.  though I did see a very clever way to approach this in some of the jam's games which was to overlay a 3d die that follows your die's rotation and that you can pan around to see the number on each side.  thanks for the feedback! very insightful

Ill have to give this game a 5/5 on presentation because wow I really love your style! the music is so good! the pixel art is also great, the game was also fun to play, the randomness doesnt feel annoying and the main idea of the game is simple but effective, overall this game was a treat to my eyes and ears!

some of the later levels with ice require that you get a four actually, so yeah it does get resolved but it takes a few levels first

Dark mode dice. yes. in all seriousness great game, the visuals and art are superb and the game is fun to play. and most importantly, it has dark more dice

I liked the art style a bunch, your ui is also very polished and the game feels good to play, interesting spin on the idea with the dice being customizable, very nice game!

This is an amazing game, after seeing you on a stream yesterday i decided to try it out myself, I really love how the dice rerolls can become both your goal and obstacles depending on your number. the visuals are sick, the music is sick, and the whole game gives off a professional vibe, one of the games i can see myself playing even after the jam. If you decide to continue working on this game i can see it being a hit. great work!

while I have seen this same idea before, I think yours executes it the best out of all I've seen, the music is very chill and fits the game quite well, the animations and movements are smooth and the level design is smart, overall great job, I loved playing this game

nice! glad to see another vocaloid fan? got any favorite composers?

At first I found the game a little annoying to play, but as i progressed I began liking the mechanics you've implemented more and more, i liked how you have to risk standing still and getting caught so you can use a certain weapon type, and the shockwave weapon I really liked since you can flip enemies to a more usable weapon type, I also like your music choice since it fits the game pretty well. overall great game!

thank you onii-chan

great game, loved the concept, the music and art were very nice, the snappy movement made me a little dizzy though.

amazing game, I agree a mobile version would be so cool. the game is simply beautiful and elegant, great job!

very nice game, though the attack feels kinda redundant since you dont really need it and it takes too long to kill, good job tho!

Nice game! its very fun to play and its well polished with smooth movement.

I really enjoyed this game, it feels smooth and somewhat fleshed out, the art is really nice and the d20 part was really fun

Great idea, nice execution, kinda reminds me of minecraft tnt run lol

yeah i guess i should have added something to actually indicate that the 4 lock is an intended feature, maybe even a restart button. thanks for the nice review!

This game seems pretty funny to me, how you took the concept and made the simplest idea that can arise from it, and I imagine working in c++ instead of using an engine makes things harder. nice

yeah hopefully i plan on ironing  out more of the problems pointed out here in the comments and dropping a more polished version after the jam

oh yeah, great idea, having the goal move count be visible would let you know when you're getting off track and might help with some of the trickier levels. thanks for the feedback!

damn i really liked the art in this game, super polished and clean as well, though the gameplay did feel slightly repetitive but for 48 hours this is great!

Im kinda amazed at how fun this was to play, i really like td games and i loved how you used the dice theme, all the actions and movement feel smooth and well thought out and its really easy to get into. 10/10, hope more people can find this game

Very nice art and presentation, very clean smooth game

Really fun concept, but I had a few problems with this game, The sensitivity is way way too high, i even changed my sensitivity settings on my pc and it didnt help, my 2nd main problem is how excessive the explosion particles are, i could barely see where i was going with a 6 die and it lagged out my mid end pc. though with some work, maybe an options screen, this game can become very fun. Overall, needs some work, but a great idea nonetheless

I really like the idea and the smoothness of the animations, jumping is buggy though, sometimes i fall through the dice or dont jump when i press space, with a bit of bug fixing this could be a great game!

nice spin on the idea! its a very simple yet satisfying experience

Great submission, I loved the art and the music used, and overall really good execution, also the tutorial level is great at teaching you the main mechanic. my only problem would have to be the movement speed, it felt way too fast and made dodging alot harder, a precision mode where it slows you down would have been great for this game. other than that its a really cool game

Nice concept, though the main mechanics are a bit unclear and i could jump over the water and fire obstacles without having to interact with the roll mechanic, i did like the art style, tho animations needed a little more work. intresting game tho, good job!

I really liked this one, the art is really nice and the game feels smooth to play. good job!

Fun game, The blue dice are tough tho, lol

i really liked the idea and your execution of it, felt very nice controlling the cube specially with those clunk sounds. and it looks really nice too.

interesting spin on the idea, Overall pretty enjoyable experience. took some time to get used to but good nonetheless.

Enjoyed this game, very similar concept to what I made but I really like the rotating tile idea. The movement did feel kinda slow tho.

thanks for the nice comment, yeah, compression took away our thonk, maybe I can add it back when the game jam voting time is over, maybe even a secret extra spicy thonk.

sup, we both thought of the same pun for our games lol, nice

absolutely loved this one, the art is great and I enjoyed the story, the references and jokes are also amazing lol
